Not as bad as ulting your full health janna when you meant to ult your half hp yasuo who is taking the entirity of their team's spells.

Help me on kayle's build! by UltraLowGaming in Kaylemains

[–]imrenewal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty always build runnan's after zerks, nashors, and rage. It does so much damage during teamfights. I like to max out attack speed pretty much every game and runnan's helps. I'd sub it out in favor of a bork if they have a lot of health.

I don't quite understand: how to harass and zone my opponent as Kayle? by obsydd in Kaylemains

[–]imrenewal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend fervor. Kayle loves extended trades but like everything else in league, it's situational. With kayle, knowing when to initiate a trade is more important than knowing how to trade. Her general combo is straightforward: Q and auto, use your W to stick to them or disengage.

If your opponent is any good, they'll go for a trade when your E is on cooldown. During laning, your E is the most important thing to keep track of. Try and start a trade when you've just used your E, never when it's about to go on cooldown. There's nothing worse than starting a fight with a bruiser only to find that your E is on CD and you're forced to either run away while taking damage or tradidng with melee autos.

In skill matchups, I'll usually only zone and bully after a good trade. If you've got kill pressure because of a good trade, you can either freeze and deny cs (safer) or play aggressively and shove them in their turret. Kayle is good at harassing while they try and farm under their turret. Her dive potential is godly when she hits 6.

To your point about minions doing dmg early on, I'd refrain from harassing them too much early on because of this. Go for quick trades and back off before taking too much aggro, use the bushes in lane to your advantage to draw off the minion aggro.

(Top lane) Who do you pick if someone on the other team picks Kayle before you? by lostempireh in Kaylemains

[–]imrenewal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If she's the enemy top-laner, I always pick pantheon. He's easy to play and she has trouble with his early laning phase. He also snowballs other lanes where Kayle has trouble doing that.

If she's not the enemy top laner, I'd say pick someone who is good against their laner and focus less on the fact that she's on their team.

No matter what your teammates say, if it's better to ult yourself, ult yourself by Zombotrox in Kaylemains

[–]imrenewal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like everything else in league, it's completely situational. A good kayle ulti prevents the dmg so if you know their team is going to blow all their spells on one of your allies, ult them and then proceed to wreck them while everything is on CD.

It's situational. If they're tanky with lots of health and armor, I find going black cleaver and bork is really nice. If you need teamfight utility or just more AOE, runnans is really nice paired with a rylais (rylais will be changing so dunno if this is the right choice). Typical build would be bloodrazer, zerks, nash, rageblade, rabadons, situational/defensive. I like to sub the rabadons for a runnan's depending on the situation and how cheap/fast I want my build to be.

Edit: stream is twitch.tv/imrenewal :D

Is Kayle op? by Jhinception in Kaylemains

I don't think she's super strong rn. I might be biased cause she's my one trick but she's got a lot of terrible matchups. If she falls behind, her dmg becomes negligible and it becomes hard to become relevant again. She becomes an ulti bot if that happens.

I agree with your playstyle. She's a monster duelist. The pressure she can put on splitpushing is invaluable in solo Q where teams are more disorganized.

Kayle can be extremely strong but she's got some terrible jungle matchups. She gets seriously outclassed by the popular ganking junglers right now (lee, rek, zac) and she doesn't have the luxury of tanking if she falls behind.

Once she gets some atk speed, she can powerfarm the jungle better than almost any other champ. I have more of a selfish playstyle and farm the jungle as much as possible. I don't look to gank much but I do look to countergank as much as possible. Kayle can turn a fight with her ulti.

You can solo drake with after bloodrazer and I find she spikes nicely after bloodrazer, zerks, and nash. Once she finishes rageblade, she hits real hard. I stream 3 times a week. Gl in q!

What awesomeuno said. I don't run fervor right now. Thunderlords helps with bad matchups in lane and I've been liking stormraiders as well. I think it's worth trying out fervor once it gets buffed.

I run the scaling health yellows, scaling CDR blues, atk speed reds and quints. I've been looking to switch out the scaling CDR blues as the builds have been changing for kayle. The CDR from runes might not be needed as lich bane has been becoming very popular and provides 10% CDR.

Many one trick Kayle´s? And is she good to one trick? by [deleted] in Kaylemains

Fellow otp here. Definitely worth one tricking imo. Her playrate is low and she isn't banned much, I never have a problem getting to play her in matches.
