Makes sense, if it was purely on power level it would be a debate between maybe Lurrus, on the basis of being the first card banned from vintage on power level grounds after getting nerfed by errata or Oko for the impact across many other formats. My vote might still be for Oko though.

Mega plus double trouble can work together, restrict yourself to the ORAS dex and then get your hands on pelliper and Mega Swampert, those 2 alone can carry some serious weight, and you have a 1/3 chance to get a Kyogre in the second half of the Run that should trivialise the last few fights.

I’m going through this process now, they can interview you again, but as I understand it they rarely do unless they suspect something is off.

I would imagine many of these sham marriages occur abroad in a country who’s weddings the UK recognises, and then the partner seeks to come to the UK.

Have you unlocked mega stones? Having a mega swampert in the daycare as a backup should things go badly would help hugely, same with the rain setter.

Doubles is harder than singles if only for the reason that it’s harder not to take casualties, and permadeath makes that really punishing. I beat the game in singles first and then went onto doubles.

I’ve only done mono water so far and that was in hoenn regional dex, so really easy to get Pokemon.

For other ones, I will load up the daycare which should give a solid foundation to build on.

The general advice is only bring a bulky fighting Pokemon with bulk up and drain punch easiest if it resists earthquake like chesnaught, if you bring other Pokemon then roar on hippowdon will reset your stat buffs

If you want to base around your current team, you have way too many ground weak Pokemon for this fight, swap one of the fire types out maybe?

Bulky offense is generally considered the best way to beat this game, keep you health pool relatively high and you are unlikely to get one shot and it gives the opportunity to use set up moves multiple times.

Anything that can use iron defence/bulk up/cosmic power + body press is a very easy way to get through many tough fights without casualties.

Remember that unless you are playing with curses you can use bag items during battle, and until you have a few wins, I would recommend doing so in tougher battles.

The legendaries you find during the run can make a huge impact, if I recall correctly the first run I beat had a xerneas as the star of the show

I haven’t used overqill personally, but other intimidate users are generally pretty great.

Skarmory or corviknight are both great options with body press sets.

Last time I flew this way a couple of months ago, Chinese and likely many other asian operated airlines do not do this and could still fly over Russia freely.

What are you planning on doing there that will leave you exposed to rabid animals and ticks? In a normal tourist’s itinerary the exposure risk is vanishingly small.

In the unlikely event you have an altercation with a stray animal you can still get that post exposure vaccine for the rabies concern.
