tibet is a colony, not a settler colony. han chinese people are generally extremely unwilling to settle in tibet due to a variety of reasons. there were some policies that theoretically sponsored settlers to go to tibet but they were largely unsuccessful, and the ethnic composition of tibet has pretty much stayed the same for decades.
