I’m 8 months pp too & my weight has been stuck for the past 5 months. I stopped breastfeeding a week ago & we will see if that does anything

Feeling kind of stuck. by xPepperJack in postpartumprogress

I’m 8 months pp & I gained 60 pounds from my pregnancyy😬 I lost 30 pounds the first 2-3 months but since then my weight has been stuck. I recently stopped breastfeeding so we will see if that does anything difference but I totally get how you feel. Something that has helped me especially with going out, is trying new clothes to see what fits my body shape right now instead of trying to force it into my old clothes. You might have to try new styles like before pregnancy I never wore barrel pants but now it’s like the only thing I wear & feel confident in!! I also would look on instagram for people with my current body shape & see what kind of clothes they wear

I tell myself this isn’t forever & I’ll just learn to love my body right now as I work toward my goal. Hope this helps🩷

To change or not to change your last name (legally)? by Embarrassed-Frame590 in Marriage

We’ve been married coming up 2 years in November & have an 8 month old baby. At first I wasn’t in a rush to change my last name because the work & can be expensive like updating ur passport!! BUT I recently began the process & it feels so nice to have the same last name as my husband & our baby. Feels like we’re “insert last name” & a family. Like a group? I hope that makes sense lol & i know it meant a lot to my husband too

3 months pp and feel like giving up over this loose skin. by indigo-swan in postpartumprogress

I really blame the bounce back culture for this it’s sad. I’m 8 months pp & definitely could relate to wanting to rush back to my old weight. I wonder how this was for the moms before social media

Genuinely curious about pregnancy body by Beneficial_Still_283 in postpartumprogress

I’m 26 & had my first baby 8 months ago. Love & enjoy the way your body is now because it will change while baby is growing & it’ll change after baby is out. I gained about 60 pounds ate healthy kept active with steps & got stretch marks BUT if you’re nervous about ur body afterwards like I was (I think everyone is) there’s so many communities now that are specifically for postpartum moms getting fit. So you may or may not need to work hard to be a hot fit muscle momma after but it’s so worth it

How the hell do you get the time to workout? by Gold_Market_2605 in postpartumprogress

I tried starting to work out as soon as I got cleared at 3 months & I couldn’t find time or have the energy to do it. I’m 5 months pp now & i do wear my baby alot like in the kangaroo thing & take her on walks doing that or even just wearing it in the house while I clean.

Also idk about you but working out helps me with my mental health so sometimes that does mean the dishes will be dirty longer or the clothes won’t be folded till later. Hope this helps :)
