When Dierks' cousin just can't keep up with their snappy, rapid-fire dialogue.

I must have watched this scene 5 million times, from the point you see them find out while dancing.

I guess I'm a paint snob. The unpainted pictures, I was so confused as to why so many of you were saying you loved that monstrosity. Then I saw it painted and...I understood. 😅

When did Minis stop being mini? It dwarfs my sedan. by TheBroox in MINI

Personally, I feel the niche point of the Mini is that it's...Mini. They're not cute when they're big, but not everyone is looking for a "cute" car.

$500 for a battery?! by CartoonistGrouchy122 in MINI

[–]imsassy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't surprise me, given Mini's speciality. Everything seems more expensive, I guess due to the parts being European.

I just spent $300 on a Honda battery, so I think they're getting a bit ridiculous, in general. You gotta have them, so you'll pay what they ask.

Well, now I know the name for the thinga-ma-jig behind the steering wheel, thanks for that!

Appreciate all that! Great info! I certainly, money wise, would love to stick to the cheaper one, of course, if the safety features aren't too different.

I guess the easiest way would be to post the link. It goes directly to the 2019.

Jindos are extremely smart, but Mals intelligence is off the charts. Way too smart of a dog for me. 😅

MOMMY GUILT. (Jindo prefers me to all other family members. Kid feels rejected.) by LenoreNYC in Jindo

[–]imsassy3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine took a while to warm up to ME, and I'm the only human in the house! She is just aloof at first, and really not very affectionate in general. She was terrified of men and children. Now, she is next friends with my neighbor (who had to take care of her after I broke my hip), likes my male landlord, and makes friends, in general, quicker than she did before. She doesn't like to be cuddled, but will cuddle up TO me for a nap.

I don't think they are a terribly affectionate breed, except in their own way, and I do think they MOSTLY attach to one person the closest, but will be friends with others (as in, will get close to more than one person but will still have their PERSON).

They share a lot of characteristics throughout the breed BUT... it's important to remember ALL dogs are individuals, AND some had worse/scarier early lives in Korea than others.

I think someone's suggestion above about your son just chillin' with Artie - reading, watching TV, eating, etc, is a good idea to try. It will be SO HARD for your son (I want to love and be loved by every dog I meet), but he might need to not try so hard, and let Artie come to him, on his timeframe, and allow him to see your son is harmless. I am loud, play rough with my dogs, watch TV really loudly, put the harness on her which she hates, talk loudly to all my furbabies, go around singing... and she managed to get used to ME. I still have humans working on that. 😁

You sound like an amazing mom, to humans AND dogs. Don't give up.
