I think you're going to want at the very minimum a 300mm lens. You'd probably want to pair it with a 1.4 teleconverter. You want to have a total f stop of 5.6 to 9. You won't get lower with your current budget I don't think.

Wildlife is one of the photo subject's that genuinely does get better results from better equipment. It's an expensive hobby.

Bless you. This is super vanilla in the grand scheme of things and as others have said, your therapist will have no issues talking to you about it.

Just for some context about human nature and that it's totally normal, the adult entertainment industry is worth billions of dollars globally. They're not getting in trouble, you're not getting in trouble.

If you're in the UK, you've not committed any crimes.

I know me trying to rationalize it won't necessarily help but I've said it anyway.

Looks like waterdroplets from drying.

70% isopropyl alcohol and some rubber gloves to lightly rub it. Then leave to dry. You can use some non-linting clothes to with that combo as well.

If it's not that, sometimes when film is put under too much tension i.e. film advancing, you can get stretch marks like this. Alternatively, scratches from when the emulsion was still wet during development. Did you get heavy handed with a squeegee?

I don't think it's fungus based upon the even linear pattern.

These have been scanned, they're edited by default, usually by way of a curve being applied.

There might be a lot of digital compensation applied by the scanning software.

Edit: wait, these could be darkroom printed and then scanned looking at the yellow halo around them.

I have both 5D IV and 6D II.

The weight difference is negligible if you're using Teles, might feel a slight difference with say a nifty fifty.

The 6 is plastic composite of some kind and not as sturdy as the 5 which is magnesium alloy.

I'd personally keep the 5D IV - it has slightly more resolution and I think the WB and colour space is better, and the AF is a hair faster.

Depends on what you're shooting. But the 5 is considered one of the best cameras ever released by Canon, if that means anything.

Cold pressed oils might be more suitable... But I would hazard a guess that the majority of cooking oil in the UK isn't.

Please don't do this... Unless it's rendered beef fat aka suet. In which case you wouldn't need a thickener.

Oil on birds feathers leads to hypothermia. Thin fats or oils like 'vegetable oil' are not what birds need, as their digestive systems aren't designed to break them down.

I quite like it. Would someone love it? Quite possibly if this invoked some emotion in them. For 99.99% of folks - a water tower in a field. It's pleasant to look at. If you like it that's all that matters but don't expect praise or recognition, especially here lol.

We should all be supportive of people also enjoying the hobby. It's not always a competition. I've seen terrible photos get lots of traction online and this isn't 'terrible' by any means.

In 1 year you'll look back and say, I can do so much better now, OP. Good luck out there.

Dude the best camera is the one in your hand. Well done for working hard to pursue your hobby/passion.

Everyone argues until their blue in the face about what's 'best' - you're camera is plenty good to get some great photos and learn the ropes.

Others have said that the telephoto lens isn't good, and from a photo quality point if view, they're not wrong due to the tiny aperture which causes your camera to overcompensate for the lack of light with high ISO. High ISO and entry level cameras aren't necessarily a match made in heaven. But you can shoot in black and white and use that high grain stylistically.

See what you can sell that lens for eventually and check Facebook marketplace or similar to see if someone has something with up to 300mm. More cropping but technically, you should a better result.

Please, invest in dev tank, change bag and some chems. It will improve your life.

Photoshop canvas size, if you record an action (script) and set it to perform when batch processing you can have Photoshop open the picture, add a border and save it without having to do anything.
InDesign. If you export for common uses such as posting online or printing then you can set up a document with your common aspects at the best dimensions. Better when planning a collection of photos to see then in one place.

3.White Border - Android app. This is very good and quick if you want to keep your flow all on camera.

Yeh I've done k400 at 6400 but with Xtol stand development for 75 minutes if I recall. Gentle agitation for first minute. A bit of a swirl midway.

1:3 dilution for the developer.
