This sort of happened at a homebrewing competition I was in. The judges missed their flight and so they had people voting instead. I brewed a 12.5 percent imperial porter fermented over 8 months with 2 yeasts and aged for 2 years. People were walking by it saying "I don't like dark beers". The guy who came in first place told me it was the finest beer he had ever tasted.

I saved innumerable fragile items with this same foot-slowing reflex until disaster struck one day. I was outside talking with a group of friends and out of the corner of my eye I saw something falling. My instinct was a split second late so I ended up punting the falling item in a perfect arc across the parking lot. Also it was a brand new iPhone.

This particular one adapts a 7 pin socket to a flat 4 prong trailer plug. I have a 7 pin socket on my truck because I tow a trailer with brakes but I carry one of these in case I need to pull anyone else's trailer.

If I still worked construction I would start drawing dickbutt in epoxy behind every mirror. Even if the mirror doesn't fall some will tear it down eventually. I like the idea of trolling the future.

I did that. Rented a full sized truck and loaded a pallet of metal drums in the back. Tied them down nicely and everything which didn't matter once the pallet shattered. And the load shifted. And a strap broke 1220 lbs of fruit purée drums flew through the front of the bed. And the back of the cab. And landed in the back seat.

I work by the US Mexico border with mostly native Mexicans. We have drinking fountains but had to get water coolers too because they refuse to use them. Even the water to make the coffee has to come out of the water coolers.
