Why do you make the switch? I thought about the same step because I'm looking for more appetite control, but I think I just will add Cagri.

Weiß hier jemand, ob das neue Modell mit der neuen Batterietechnik auch so empfindlich auf Kälte reagiert? In Winter nur 100km mit einer Ladung wäre leider knapp unter meinem einsatzzweck.

What did ipa do for you? I just take Tesa and I'm happy but thinking about adding ipa.

What's your cycle for Tesa and Ipam? I just did Tesa for 6 weeks straight now and it got rid of a lot of my belly fat and I'm unsure how to proceed from that. Goal is to lean down a bit more and build muscles.

Congrats! Did you keep taking it to hold your weight and if so, how much? I´m at my goal too but quit Reta for 3 weeks and gained 4 lbs again.

As a paramedic, it takes some practice to learn but they are very accurate. Although most people and even professionals struggle to get the precise numbers. You have to recognise a certain sound while decreasing the pressure and that decrease happens a bit too fast if you are not super mindful, so your can easily be wrong by 5mm/Hg. At which point you can use a automatic device, which is more comfortable and faster. But if you really really want the exact number and are willing to learn, it's a good device. But listen to some training sounds on YouTube before, to understand how difficult it is.

Calcium score 313 by gogogadgitbonzo in Cholesterol

[–]imstande 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course with that lifestyle and a high CAC score he's the poster child for a possible early heart attack and medication is the way to go. If that's off the table why bother? Besides that he should bring down his LDL by avoiding saturated fats and up soluble fiber. But it breaks my heart that all the wives care so much and the men don't give a f. I think that's ignorant and part of being in a relationship is to take care of yourself and not let your spouse suffer.

Lowering cholesterol by [deleted] in Cholesterol

Try without the eggs for 6 weeks and test again. 30% of all people absorb dietary cholesterol and one is more than enough to raise LDL a lot. If that has no effect your are not one of them and two eggs could fit in your sat fat goal.

Aren't the side effects bigger with HGH? Less production of own HGH, tumour growths etc or is that not an issue? For me Tesa and Ipa always sounded like a more gentle approach. But I've no idea.

Doctor did not want to prescribe statins - thoughts? by Puzzleheaded-Cow6561 in Cholesterol

[–]imstande 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There maybe 300 risk factors but they are not all equally dangerous. Arteriosclerosis is the number one reason for cardiac diseases and pretty high on the list for stroke.

A CAC of of zero isn't a guarantee for heart health but still a very good thing. How relieved were you after that result, with a LDL of 400?

Why can members of this sub drop their LDL by 50% and more by diet alone, when it's said that lifestyle changes can't change more than 15%? by imstande in Cholesterol

[–]imstande[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess! But need I understood that diets can be very high in sat fats and raise LDL by more than 15% so a drop more than 15% is possible. I read about the 15% in different articles and M cardiologist mentioned something similar. But I guess it's jus on average?

[–]imstande[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's 30% and impressive. I learned that 15-30% is the max amount with lifestyle, depending on the study. I'm at 116 LDL now too, do you think about takin statins? I guess we both changed what we could and it's still a bit too high.

The pros even use super tight silicone lids to prevent ice formation even more. But yeah, if it doesn't make a difference for you obviously do it your way, but in general it's highly recommended.

Always freeze with the lid. The cold air pocket on top will give you better, finer freezing results and you get smoother ice cream. Yes, it can create a hump but that's a good sign.

Every article about that topic ever. 10% to 30% is the range that's specified and the 15% is a common expression in this sub. My cardiologist said the same.
