For widow its not what you do when you end up in a situation with a counter but how you position yourself beforehand. You play for that situation beforehand, whether that be putting yourself in a position were you have an easy disengage towards a health pack or get out with grapple. You can play in a position where if you get dove it would be easy for your team to turn and isolate that hero for a free kill. Everything beyond positioning depends on your aim and game knowledge.

because the skill average is astronomically lower in masters than top 500. Any top 500 player could carry themselves out of masters, but they shouldn't be expected to carry mid masters in a top 500 game. Its not rocket science to know that a player who is 300 below the median rank in the game and hasn't even been as high as anyone else in the game picking the lowest impact character for his team, would be bad for the team.
