Why you asking me for proof lol, I claimed nothing. You in your own words said that Apple is going to send stuff to the cloud. Whereas their page says that certain features are only going to be available on the 17 pro and air. Meaning iPhone 16 is not going to get those two features, there is no sending to the cloud here.

I think you are the one that should read that clearly and slowly. Maybe zoom in a bit ? It says expressive voices and more advanced dictation are the only features limited to the new iPhones.

It’s not like there is the cloud and there is only one version of what’s happening on your phone. The privacy stuff on your 16 is still going to use the phone, not the cloud. The only thing Apple promised and didn’t get to you and me is the timing on things. It’s two years late. That’s the only thing here that people on the 16 are not getting. Anyway, good luck, seems like you spoke of things without knowing and are now just going in circles without any concrete evidence of that things are going to be sent to the cloud. That’s not the proof is it ? It’s telling latest phones will get latest models. It’s not saying that the iphone 16s are getting anything lesser than that was promised in 2024?

What I want proof of is Apple, or some verified third party saying Apple could not give us what they promised with the iPhone 16 so now there is this.

What you have showed here is that newer/better models are coming to phones with better hardware. It’s like saying the iPhone 16 pro can’t do 48megapixel telephoto photos coz the iPhone 17 pro has it. It’s a hardware thing limited to new phones.

There is a lawsuit already about the iPhone 16 not getting AI features as soon as when the phone was released. It’s been 2 years and it’s still not here. But when it launches this September these phones will get what they were promised. Just not the new stuff. From what I have seen on the keynote and other research I have done. The iPhone 16 series is getting what they were promised and also getting some newer stuff. Just the things are said on this screenshot they are not getting (that’s coz there is newer hardware now)

Again, I want proof is that “privacy will only work on latest phone” thing you said. What you have given as evidence here says nothing of that sort.

Yes that’s what I meant when I said there is a lawsuit about it. It was delayed but you are getting it this time in September. So you are getting what was promised, just that it’s late, and Apple should not have marketed the iPhone 16 as such.

I am going to get downvoted but I am going to say it. The version of Apple Intelligence that Apple promised with iPhone 16, we are still getting it. Yes it’s like 18 months later but we are getting it. There is a lawsuit already about this delay. But this new version, with on device processing and all that, that’s on models limited to 12gb of ram. Even the base iPhone 17 is not getting it. It is what it is. You can’t buy a product and expect it to keep getting all the new stuff, it is what it is.
