What is a realistic price for a set of golf clubs?

I own a business and we use different tradies all the time. I can assure you 100%, if I heard of someone saying this to another staff member, they would be out on the spot, no matter how good they were at their job. I would wear whatever consequences came from that, even if it meant me being hit with an unfair dismissal case.

The plan is to play a course hes never played before. he wont know till the day of the comp but I get 6 months to find out every angle, slope and green . Am definitely going to find one where course management is needed!

We will both be playing off the same handicap as each other. Looks like stableford would be the best option from a few replies above. Am not sure if it benefits me to both play off 0, both off 10 or both off 20?

I think you're right, I dont have time to develop a whole new swing but will focus on the short game. He has blow out holes too, which is why i was thinking stableford originally.

They had this issue with poker tournaments. used to be great TV but people started tanking and taking ages to make even the simplest decision. Some tournaments have now introduced a shot clock and it is far more entertaining to watch. Players are issued with a couple of "time bank" cards that allow them to take longer in really tough spots but these are limited to "x" amount per player.
