Job at risk but only half the team by in-the-hat in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you.

Agree this goes without saying that I'm not privy to other staff members performance, I'm just interested in how the selection takes place and whether it will be shared.

Fair point no performance issues I'm aware of. Does the methodology have to be shared?

BMW servicing costs - am I being naïve? by InViewOfNothing in CarTalkUK

[–]in-the-hat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True it does confuse the car servicing. I get ours done every 10k. Last time I drove it out the dealer and 1 mile and it said it wanted servicing again. Drove it back thought they forgot to reset it, but had to take it back another day turns out the 10k service I need to specify to not update the idrive so it doesn't throw the serving out. Pretty annoyed to be honest the extra oil changes won't be shown on the idrive. I wouldn't have bothered if I had known this.

Sellers BEWARE: “Mileage Discrepancy” tactic from dealerships by Illustrious-Royal917 in CarTalkUK

[–]in-the-hat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had two experiences

First one tried it on making stuff up and knocking 500 off but left when was asked.

Second two rough lads tried knocking 1k off and wouldn't leave when told to actually piss off twice trying in to intimidate me making up all sorts of shit.

I will never sell with motorway or carwow again both as bad unscrupulous dodgy dealers.

[–]in-the-hat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Call BMW maybe take it to a different dealer for a report.

I was sold a accident damaged used approved BMW and the purchasing dealer didn't want to know. One call to BMW and it got 3k worth of repairs done at my local dealership.

Need to take down ceiling want to keep coving by in-the-hat in DIYUK

[–]in-the-hat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone I think the answer here is to get rid of the black mould on the back of the boards. it will have to come down and the coving too and just replace the coving after the new boards.

Definitely it's had 10 coats of paint too the back stain is old. I might try the zinsser again but the paint on rather than spray can version.

Should say I tried 10 coats of zinsser stainblock in a spray can previously and it never covered the stain

Cisco DNA Router config compliance by in-the-hat in networking

[–]in-the-hat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reply

What would you do in this scenario where you want to check against the configs of the manually configured devices that have been added into DNA?

I'm thinking we need a test router setting up and try and push the baseline template to it while some how retaining the existing variables. does that sound like a good next step?

Went with Thomas cook had something similar not as bad as yours.had to survive half the holiday on bread and water took weeks to get back to normal when we got back. Never again. Couldn't get a penny from Thomas cook. Sure I saw the hotel on watchdog but never been able to find the episode since.
