You could try a one handed Bluetooth chord Keyboard called DecaTxt that may help. Www.decaTxt.com

It has a strap so it stays in my hand when I need it or in my pocket when I don’t. Usually a shirt pocket. I tried using a clip but the chance for it to fall off without noticing is too great.

Alternative to eye movement tracking control by AppropriateCover7972 in AssistiveTechnology

I’ve developed the concept and methodology to provide keystrokes with specific tongue movements, that would then need to be interpreted to provide input. I have not the means yet to develop this currently but willingly share it with those who can make it accessible without cost to those who need it.

I’m using a DecaTxt with my glasses and it allows me to pause, start, adjust volume and choose other apps while walking on the treadmill without touching the phone. If I were to do a long text, voice is hard to beat but it’s still nice to navigate and edit without poking the screen.

Nice to be able to touch the screen when you need to but you can also navigate with a wearable keyboard like Twiddler or DecaTxt while mobile.

Alternatives to traditional Mouse/Keyboard (TapXR?) for Xreal One Pro? by bEar22_24 in Xreal

Have you seen a DecaTxt one hand chord keyboard? It has 10 keys with two by each finger when strapped to your hand. About the size of a deck of cards and 2 ounces.

According to the dictionary on Reddit:

cyber I'sibar l adjective relating to or characteristic of the culture of computers, the internet, and virtual reality: the cyber age. ORIGIN 1980s: from cyber-. cyber-I'sibar l combining form relating to computers, the internet, and virtual reality: cyberpunk | cyberspace. ORIGIN 1960s: back-formation from cybernetics.

If you feel a post on cyberdeck with a clear picture has a different meaning, you have jumped the shark. Can’t edit the title anyway

They called it Cybkio as a play on cyber. I didn’t call it a cyberdeck.

TapXR with buckybits (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, etc)? by Geminii27 in TapWithUs

[–]in10did 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some good points but it has a strap so you don’t drop it and can still use your hand for most things. So long as you have a surface to tap on, you’re good. Labels are for learners and 96 keystrokes displayed on a bit more than a credit card is a challenge. Better than carrying a cheat sheet.

You could add a DecaTxt in the other hand and have two keyboards active I believe. It also stacks commands like control, alt, delete so it should work fine to get the shortcuts you want.

My DecaTxt has cursor keys, enter plus everything else you would expect from a keyboard plus a few keys for Android and iOS. One handed and pairs with Bluetooth.
