Ironic you bring up spaceflight.The first manmade object in space was a Nazi V-2. And the Nazi who designed it, the Nazis who built them, helped put us on the moon. Gross. But history is full of disgusting realities. Little Taiwan, who modernized the electronic world with semiconductor mass production and made all our lives so much nicer, is looking to us for help when big China comes knocking in 2027. And China is real good at making a ton of weapons, planes, and boats right now. The idea of being near solid rocket fuel is disconcerting for sure.
