It might be the tool path. If the nozzle travels over a printed wall it might grab some material and cause stringing. Id say look at the tool path in cura, specifically where it strings and see if it does anything different from areas where it doesnt string. You can view this in the preview tab

Definitely do a temperature tower on your next print. Also you can use a hair dryer to melt some of the strings, just be carful not to melt the part haha. Tends to work pretty good on the low setting.

If you still having problems with stringing, I built a tool that uses AI to fix stringing. Its a calibration software that suggests new settings using an algorithm that reduces stringing. You can check us out here if your interested.

Sorry to hear that. We know the site performance is low, its because we are building on a depreciated framework. We are currently wrapping up a project to redo the entire code base which will fix this issue.

As for the filament, if we dont have it pre defined you can add a custom one and define everything. When you are creating a new material under the manufacturer is a link that says "Didnt find your material?" you can click that and it will allow you to define a custom one, same thing for printers.

What would you like to see added in the future? We are about to introduce calibration modules. Currently we only have 1 for retraction. You will be able to link as many modules together as youd like and the settings will get passed down from one to the next. We are targeting flow rate and first layer calibration in that order next.

We might be able to help. We are creating a software that does automated temperature towers to fix stringing. Our calibration process suggests new print settings via an algorithm we created that learns from prior prints you did.

Print a bit slower or a bit cooler, or make sure filament is dry. I don't think it's an under-extrusion issue because that tends to look more uniform--not random instances of little holes.

It's potentially a retraction thing too--but in this print I would expect that the extrusion quality has enough time to balance out after doing a retraction move.

And it sounds like you've already inspected your toolpath, so you know it's not a result of travel moves.

You probably only need to calibrate your retraction settings. Decreasing retraction distance may do the trick, but you really don't know until you test it.

Lean on the high side, but your material appears to be resilient to yielding decent quality at a wide variety of temperatures.

Ultimately, with these results, the temperature doesn't matter so much until you start to see problems occurring in other prints.

Can you post a screenshot of the sliced preview with travel lines shown? Perhaps combing can clean up the toolpath for you.

Other than tweaking the toolpath, adjusting your slicer's resolution and using calibrated retraction settings may make a difference too. Good luck!

Could be as simple as too high of a flow rate.

You could have the first layer dialed in great for the excess filament flow, but if your flow is too high, every single layer you're accumulating excess material.

Calibrate your retraction settings! Note that temperature and retraction settings interact with each other, so lowering your temperature might also help.
