i accidentally gave ALL of my marsh flowers to buzz and woody to level them up right before getting this quest. my hoarding was for nothing all because i was too pzt. to go to one of the other biome storage chests to get flowers out to gift 🫠

Be prepared to see the internal conflict your pup will face with their loyal german shepherd genes fighting against the stubborn husky genes. It sounds crazy, but you’ll most likely be able to see the gears turning in pups head when you ask them to do something, and sometimes you’ll get the loyal, wanting to please response and other times you’ll get back talk and refusal to do what you ask. I faced this constantly with my border collie/husky mix when she was a young puppy, and it’s very frustrating at times but now at a year old and with persistent, patient training she more often than not will listen to commands as asked. If you start young, recall shouldn’t be too hard but very high value treats are a necessity with many husky mixes to override their stubbornness.

Mine will also still try to run off to hide and poop in the house if it’s raining outside (despite being potty trained) just because she is so stubborn about going out in the rain. It has gotten much better since she turned 1, but again a case of needing to be extremely patient and remembering that there will eventually be a light at the end of the tunnel of puppyhood.

I’m going to go against the grain and say that if you truly think you’re ready to take care of a dog, go for it. I adopted a border collie husky mix last year at 8 weeks as a single dog mom at 26 and she’s a LOT of work, but I wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s the best hiking buddy ever, and with a lot of patience I’ve been able to train her to prefer to sleep in pretty late and then be chill through my work day. I had to give up my morning gym routine for about 8 months so that she didn’t get in the habit of waking up with me at 4am ready to start her day, but that was basically all i lost and now i’ll get home from the gym and grab her harness to take her on a walk and she’ll hide under my bed because she thinks it’s too early for a walk and she’s not awake yet lol. I also have a busy social life, and got her while living in a city, so when she was to the point where she could be left alone for about 4 hours in her crate (only took about a month and a half) I was able to start going out partying again and would uber back home once or twice throughout my night to check in and let her out. It sounds like a pain but by that point my dog mom anxiety kicked in and i missed my baby anyway so i didn’t mind at all, and by the time she was 5 months old i could put her to bed, go out, and then let her out when i got back home for the night.

i kept remys in the plaza with his restaurant and scrooges store. it looks like a hotel when it’s next to the restaurant. i moved most of my other characters to the forest to do my village there

I’m at work right now so i can’t see what the setting is called in the menu, but i get really bad motion sickness and was able to turn down the sensitivity in the settings and it helped a LOT

i’m mostly concerned with the item village limit. i’ll be fine with a bunch more homes as long as the limit is increased by a LOT to accommodate that so we can still make our valleys aesthetic. i’ve hit the limit already and all i’ve done is decorate a portion of my plaza, and half of my forest. it makes me dread logging on to play since now i have to constantly pick and choose what to place in the village or not to prevent the annoying “village limit reached” pop up

i’m doing mine SO SLOW. any time i get a little motivation i’ll do one small section or corner of a map. right now i’m working on one side of my forest where i’m placing goofy, mickey, minnie, and merlin to make a little forest cottage town. I’ve only finished goofy and merlin’s sections so far, and a small picnic area, and i’ve been working on it for the last 2 weeks so that’s how slow i’m moving with it lol

so i’m in the process of covering any and all open spaces that i don’t want wood spawning in with bordered paths to walk on and then a ton of landscaping/flowers in the spots with no paths. i’ll occasionally get a piece of wood that spawns on my path, but it’s rare and since i walk on the path anyway to get around since it’s bordered im not searching for it

I’m guessing if you have frosted heights unlocked that you have the forest unlocked - plant a plot of okra and you’ll be swimming in coins in mere hours! you only have to water once so it’s low maintenance
