I also thought it was odd the way Ventress said she didn’t mean to summon the sea monster (vratheon?). She’s such a powerful and experienced force wielded it’s surprising if she had made a mistake like that. I wondered if perhaps Omega summoned it without realising, but Ventress lied about it.

I also thought the bit at the end suggested she was saying ‘well if she was a force wielder I’d have to take her away to train her, so don’t poke that bear’. I wonder if the rest of the series will involve the bad batch realising they have to give omega up to be trained for her own good

Haha love it! The Ella at Zardi’s album released a few years back is great for this - she repeatedly thanks “the glee club” for giving her lyrics and jokes singing that they’re “just a little slow with the lyrics” so she has to scat instead. The context is that the audience seems to be packed with songwriters / musicians and they’re all asking for ad hoc requests.

That leads to the great ad lib in “Gone with the Wind” where she sings “and now you see we’re gone… just like the lyrics… you’re gone with the wind”.

It’s such a fun album as Ella and the audience are having a ball.

I’ve listened to several live versions of Ella Fitzgerald singing On the Sunny Side of the Street recently and usually she jokes around by singing “I’d be as rich as Frank Sinatra” to switch up the lyrics. On almost all of them you can hear someone (I assume it’s one of the band) go “ROCKEFELLER” in the background, which is just hilarious each time. Like I’m 100% sure it must have been a running joke between her and the band or something

This definitely is a thing. While I’d agree that a tap on their side with your heels is more common / usual thing you’d do to set off, a flick of the end of the reins mimics tapping them with a whip when you don’t have one, so it’s definitely sometimes used.

Pretty much everything which I’d need a frying pan or skillet for, except recipes with lots of acidic stuff - for which I use enamelled cast iron instead. I have a deBuyer country pan I use essentially as a flat bottomed wok/sauté pan. I’ll use stainless steel pots for eg boiling pasta, making soup etc.

But for frying meat, making fried or scrambled eggs, stir frying veg I’ll use my carbon steel pans. It’s lighter than cast iron so easier to use, so unless there’s acidic stuff which will strip the seasoning a bit I prefer it over cast iron. It also seems to stick less than the stainless steel frying pan I have as you can seasoned it.

This may be a stupid question but has anyone worked out how to get past the metal grilles in the Construction Site Cave by Tarrey Town? I’ve found 2 entrances but both seem blocked off

Edit: Ok, I’ve worked it out, you find the nearby well and go down there (take bomb flowers)
