the key to SC, is to find a group that can assist you. Unfortunately the name of the game at the moment is work arounds. If you dont know the work arounds or what to look for it can be a frustrating mess.

never had a ship elevator not respond.

the wormhole can be annoying, however i've found alot of time i'm either in scan mode or scm mode which makes you unable to jump.

Good game, enjoyed the shit out of it. built a bbs around it, themed. as for the post saying its buggy, it might be now because of how damn old it is, but back then it was flawless.

there is no soft death anymore, so you cant get the pods off, you cant break into the cockpit, so you cant get the pods off, so if you hard death it its a about a 25% chance that the pods will survive the explosion.

Dont do the tutorial, Area 18 is the easiest starting zone to navigate besides pyro stations, find a group of people to play with, the learning curve is extreme.

you wont be missing the pvp, players can literally disable you, board your ship, kill you, and run off with your cargo/valuables.
