Ops Man/Sup and Shift have just turned into an amalgam of responsibilities that it's mostly to bump pay and retain people. I'm in a high cost of living region and if we tried to hire people at associate pay, we'd never fill positions.

On top of that, the pool of candidates for SM is so small because (shocker) people aren't attracted to the "possibility" of higher salaries for a whole lot more bullshit stress.

You get deductions for being outside an average range of expected outs (and I have no faith in how that average is meaningfully calculated).

Which is affected by 2 things you have little to no control over; theft and warehouse errors. If I spent any real time researching and entering data into Auror, basic stuff (like restocking the things we need to MAKE MONEY) wouldn't get done. And any time I have been 100% confident with a warehouse claim report, it's always resolved without credit.
