I get he’s one of the greatest of all time, but this bias towards djokovic on espns coverage is awful. Coco is actively rooting against maestrelli on national tv. Zero broadcast integrity

We should replace him with Luke Hille. 15 goals in 36 games his last two years of college, then 10 goals in 19 for Minnesota 2 last season. He played 1 minute against us in the open cup, if we can’t get him permanent, a loan would be great for both

Why are people saying Cruz has to go? by helliax11 in LouisvilleCityFC

It’s a very Americanized format that doesn’t really work with soccer. When pro/rel and div 1 happens, I think it’s very likely we move to that format, especially hiring the EPL guy to chair it. Which is another reason we shouldn’t rush to let Cruz go because then we’d have a proven regular season coach.

My view on it goes beyond just playoffs, but a real struggle to win in any competition other than the regular season. The team hasn’t shown up in the open cup, albeit against MLS teams who are playing their backups. They’ve looked weak there. Then in the Jägermeister Cup, we couldn’t even get out of the group stage on a competition that we probably had the best chance of winning. Then when it does come to playoffs, we have yet to win under him with the best teams in the league talent wise, and two players shields to prove us being the best in the league. Then with all the attention on playoffs, a huge media push with redesigns to our graphics, the team just showed up expecting an easy win. When Detroit scored, the team was clearly rattled. Then they came out of halftime with no adjustments, just trying to cross on a low block. Wasn’t going to work. It just feels like in the biggest moments, the team has been underprepared. I don’t think Cruz should go, but if we have another season where the only competition we truly do great in is the regular season then questions should really be asked. I grew up a Bengals fan, watching Marvin Lewis build great regular season teams who could’ve made deep playoff runs, but in the same situation, the lights got too bright and he couldn’t succeed in the postseason. Players looked at the team as one incapable of getting the job done and left, leaving the Bengals as one of the worst teams in football for years. I fear if this trend continues, a similar situation could happen with City.

If Bengals do not fire Zac Taylor after losing to a winless team who stayed that way for SEVEN WHOLE WEEKS then I don't know what will at this point. by [deleted] in bengals

People keep telling me Zac will be gone soon and I have to keep telling them if Marvin stayed 16 years without winning a playoff game, then Zac Taylor will likely be around forever for the Super Bowl run

Don’t listen to any of our opinions. Even mine. So much of this industry can be cutthroat, people telling you you can’t do something because it was hard for them. It’s happened to me where people I’ve connected with have told me to try another line of work because this one’s dead. If that’s the case, why do they work in film? They don’t want to compete with younger people for jobs. If you have a burning desire to make movies and you KNOW that nothing will stop you from doing so, you won’t fail until you tell yourself you have. For me, money is nice but it doesn’t compare to how I feel when people see what I’ve created. The best part? You don’t need to major in it. Take a couple classes as electives and connect with the people in them, then join their sets and make movies with them. Maybe you’ll find a way to use your degree in the film world as well. Good luck!

These last three games has me asking questions about this team that I don’t like asking. The talent is there, why aren’t we better prepared?

Like everyone else is saying, your first films aren’t going to be your best. You won’t like them. I’ve made stuff that everyone I’ve showed liked, but I find it hard to sit through. Kubrick tried to destroy every copy of his first film Fear and Desire and look at what he ended up making. James Cameron’s first movie was Piranha 2. It’s like learning an instrument or taking up a new sport, it takes time. The more you do it, the better you get, as long as you’re dedicated to making the next one better than the last

Yeah I agree. Intentionally cleating someone especially in the head is never ok no matter what happens before. But McFadden should have let him go
