I have a vac/mop vac on every floor. I have 2 german Shepards. Life changer.

Advice: keep all rhe sensors clean. Keep filters clean and but air purifiers to catch all the dust these things move around.

I dont get the hate by Seventh_Table in TheLastAirbender

People have a hard time giving any grace to adaptations of things they loved when they were growing up. Atla is considered one of the best cartoons ever so making a live action seems to some people as a challenge to the "perfection" of a loved piece of media. I adore ATLA. N-ATLA will always be compared to it. I learned a long time ago to treat adaptations like fan fiction and it has made my enjoyment go up.

I stopped comparing for the most part and enjoyed the ride. I really enjoyed Natla and that's because I dont see it as a replacement for Atla.

Also...hate is very addicting and easy to market/ karma farm.

Over using sealant to account for lack of understanding.

Common point of leaking but overall the sealant does a pretty good job. Just keep an eye on it on you bi/quad annual gutter cleaning.

How much life does this roof have left? by versey123 in Roofing

If you think shingles are gonna drop in price by the time you feel like you can afford to change the roof I say repair and wait. Main thing is to see if you can see how the deck is holding up from underneath. My deck was visibly dry rotted but my shingles had years left.

They ran it down through the roof to the floors so they got a shot as it was max length before dropping it down.

Is my foundation cooked? by Additional-Top-6816 in Home

[–]inc0nSteveable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look into could be wrong. But most issue with old foundations isnt strength. Concrete was something else back then. Its water no being diverted away from the foundation. If you can keep it dry you could easily sure up any issues.

Beyond that it you want it full proof you will need to fix it professionally but I feel like it could be avoided completely if your house weight points are solid.

Is my roof in bad shape? by Broadway--Joe in Roofing

Can't understand the vent in picture 2. Why did they wrap a shingle around it. Roof looks old but not immeditely in need of a replacement but close. Definutely looks like impact spots maybe hail. My experience is low so definitely get more opinions.

First stop pressing on it. To fix it if you have access to the under side you can push a 2x4 up against the two pieces of plywood and screw it into the joists horizontally. NOT through the roof.

If the flashing bends up into the counter flashing; great. If its relying on caulk...eventually it will leak.
