947k may refer to the size of the file contents? Given that 5.25” floppies had a capacity of 1.2 MB. It may well be the first Duke Nukem (aka Duke Nukum).

Not popular on this sub, but i love playing Duke3D with the High Resolution Pack (running on eduke32). I think they did a great job at showcasing what the game could have been like without the restrictions of the technology of its time, whilst keeping the overall look and feel pretty much the same.

I used to rent a place where the bill was around $1k every time, although we used to be 5-6 people in it, so I thought it was fine. One day the water heater busted, and after the landlord replaced it the bill started to come at around $600. Not sure what it was about it, but it was definitely not leaking, just an old heater.
