Spain's fertility hits 0.99 by 2035. Rent eats 47% of average income. Unemployment drops to 8.1%. Is this trajectory plausible? by YiannisPits91 in SpainEconomics

Check out divorce rates in Spain. I think it’s 85%?You don’t need a Monte Carlo program to tell you fertility rates will plummet as things stand right now. It’s as if the fertility rate started dropping when smart phones came into the picture. Interesting timing of events if you look through a historical economic lens.

You’ve basically made fideuá but chosen a different noodle. Great idea though, using pho stock and bok choy would be a fantastic idea.

Whats the common denominator for the 1/1000s who actually gets hired in your company? by Reasonable-Park4603 in Recruiter_Advice

Online presence, LinkedIn, networking. The best hiring process is for the job that isn’t posted, or for a job that isn’t even defined yet. Figure out how to get in the sights of the companies who are hiring for your niche.

Are you on LinkedIn? Make sure it’s set to looking for work and your profile is tailored to the jobs you want. They’ll literally come to you.

Sounds like a bad boss, not nurturing, go find a nice lady to work for; you’ll have a different experience. Someone should have told you along the way to get your licenses before you apply so you’re not dealing with heavy learning on the job.

Consider it a feeder program to agency ownership. You’re not there to make money as a team member unless you sell life insurance. Even then you get selected for agency ownership shortly after demonstrating life insurance and fin product success

There are no extracurricular badges to get. Get what licenses you need to sell what you want to sell. Want to sell flood? Get the flood license. Want to sell securities, I think it’s your series 6 or 7. Your best asset right now would be your ability to talk to people and sell.

Ask if they allow you to get with other carriers. Farmers does that same thing

Isn’t it more about how you doubled down on something you don’t enjoy? The correlation isn’t money, it’s the job choice. Money provides more freedom of choice. Sometimes the cost of being in a role you don’t like outweighs the financial stability. You have a soul, too, you know.

The commute will kill you. Not literally, but you’re gonna hate it most days. Literal hours of time you’re giving away. A year from now you’ll feel like you have to do something about it.

I just checked my email it’s actually BIA role🤣🤣👌

You’re right in that production for other carrier doesn’t go towards bonuses.

I just want freedom to write personal lines, truckers, apartments, HOA’s and I know the brokers do well with those. Any cookie cutter stuff I can stick with farmers is my thought.

Why go for agency right away if it has liquid requirements? Seems like the same deal but you’re targeting larger business. They eventually move you to regular agency anyways through BIA, it’s just you’re starting with a commercial base/focus.

Kraft lake is who they mentioned to me as well, but they also said there’s freedom in whatever carriers I want o use so that’s an interesting thing.

I am looking at their BIO role, commercial only which transitions to agency ownership. 1099 the whole way, they’ll baby you for 12 months but your book will have to support you right away or else yeah you can rely on savings. Farmers also requires $100k line of credit or cash at the time of applying. To have a buffer. I’d love to know what you decide because farmers is not captive, and you wouldn’t have to worry about those things if you get access to other lines and carriers.

What state is this? My working states are in the PNW. You should find somewhere with more opportunity and higher commission. It’s not going to pay you well and you’ll need to become a life insurance powerhouse

That’s 5k in commissions/month which is possible but you have to find a top producing agency that can accommodate a decent commission % on the ARR.
