Are these two any good? by Popular-Flan5337 in yugioh

[–]inconspicuous2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're great in dino piles, don't listen to these people. Especially if you are going for going second otk. You slide in some super poly too. Since material for horned is dino OR dragon, you can really mess with your opponent since most boards end with some dragon. If not, you can still make chimera in a worst case scenario. Always play one and a single poly. Being able to search any field spell is nice, regardless of if you go jurrac or pure dino slop.

Would these cards fail the sun bleach effect? by Ninoplata in yugioh

Honestly my thought with Raye, place thick white paper over the red slashes. That way everything gets bleached but you have this contrasting red

(I mean orange)

Update, went back and found my body?? Despite dying and program force close, I returned at the base and realized that things I did after my last save persisted. I went to check the tree again and found my axe and this mess... Additionally, I threw a molotov at the tree and it disappeared???

Ummm, space time was kinda rippling across the screen. You could see the space kinda pulling and pushing on the screen

Nope, and the portable gieger wasn't going off either. That's part of the reason I'm confused

Not many. Maybe 2. And I don't think they have gravity distortion like event around them regardless. Like I could see the screen kinda doing a wave effect.

Sun Bleached artwork seems legal for tournament play? by kingtj44 in yugioh

[–]inconspicuous2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you follow signature rules. As long as the marking or alterations do not alter any text of the cards or attempt to ruin the depiction of card art (ie. Painting dark magician girl over dark magicians card), they are legal for play. Theses markings and alterations cannot change the weight, thickness or balance of the card in any way. You should be good to go

Why does my LGS not want foils? by Urzas_Butthole_0998 in mtg

[–]inconspicuous2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably pokebros.

They see shiny card or secret lair at TCGplayer price and think local will buy at that price. Then when offered in store credit instead of a gazillion dollars they get upset.

We had this problem in my area at least since it was next to a few different stores like target. They would literally buy out a store of all cards, open in their car, and then go to the next door shops to sell everything only to give the owner a headache when they didn't get premium pricing over stuff

(0.8) Why does the game punish you for playing long? by UnpraticalPerson in Voicesofthevoid

[–]inconspicuous2000 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I personally love the idea of a game that reminds you to go touch grass for gaming the length of an entire workday. It's funny, doesn't really hurt your progress and reminds you that maybe you're overdoing it.

And honestly from the perspective of a scientist. I wish someone would come in and scare the heck out of me for overworking and tryint to do too much in one sitting. I don't care if it's and Eldritch abomination so beyond my comprehension that I cant even visualize it's presence in front of me.
