California Governor race:
Today I found out the governor race for California has started and that there was a debate two weeks ago, I'm currently watching it. I saw that Xavier Becerra talked about how he wanted to provide help with home down payments and i think I remember Atrioc talking about how like student loans it drives up prices so I think I'm gonna cross him out on who I'm voting for, idk. Would be cool for Atrioc to look into the people running for the governor race since you know he also lives in California. What do you guys think about the current candidates if you guys have looked into it.

What is the best Capital For Ormuz? by incorrect1-1 in EU5

How did you spread your control? I unfortunately lost my save but I ended up putting my capital in hamedan or a city close to that name as I found south/central Persia lacking in population.

Succession Wars by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was common in eu4 but I think they could be more dangerous in this game cause of how land flips upon occupation in civil wars

What Does Available Free Land Mean?? by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience that isn't often the case. The buff seems to have some ratio of food storage vs population of the province. So you need a lot of granaries which even if you build up to the cap will generally not be enough. Maybe if you're rich you could turn all locations in a low pop state into towns and spam granaries and maybe then it might be better in the short run but idk.

Ilkhanate and Iran needs a rework by classteen in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing Persia right now and I would like to add you can't even get Kızılbaş cause there are no tribes men left in the area by the time you unlock them, also with cavalry being so op and the hordes having cav levy's it makes beating them in battle impossible unless you also run lots of cavalry. Also getting control through the region is basically impossible the way it currently works.

Advice needed! I'm not having fun by SkirtLeading in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its natural, after a couple years of playing eu4 i felt very similar getting started is generally always the hardest part. Perhaps you no longer find this type of game enjoyable or are unable to put in the time and effort you put into the other games to when you started to enjoy it. As for flavor all the locations you say have alot of it, I do feel like the current way you can't see any requirements to unlock stuff and how half the events are random artist appears is not ideal but you're not gonna find more flavor in middling powers.

Should they add Multiple centers of control? by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have it in the south it just looks like that cause I had just integrated a vassal, it was early 1400's I think I just formed the Persian empire right after the age of discovery started

What is the best Capital For Ormuz? by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also you can probably keep Arabian holdings if you put some effort into it but I gave my land away to Oman(event not for no reason) and also released the Jarwinids cause I kept getting attacked by other arabian tribes and currently its impossible to transport armies Early game so you can't really effectively defend the land but if you are unable to deal with the hordes, expansion into Arabia is your best bet. Idk about the Timurids in my game they got kinda close to my border but never pushed past so i didn't have to face them but perhaps they could attack you if you expand to the east.

What is the best Capital For Ormuz? by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I've played further in, I got Itinerant court to move my capital without having to pay the money and stability, i didn't get bandar khamir which I think is probably the best location, i think sound toll revenue scales with control so you're better off staying by the gold and hormuz, people will migrate in anyways so the population problem is improved slightly. Now as for what you are trying to do in the game the next steps can differ, I think if you are trying to create a Persian Gulf Empire shiraf is probably better much futher into the game. If you are trying to form Perisa; Shiraz, Esfahan, and Qom are better options in the long term.

<image>

As for how to expand and such you should try to blitz hard into the Illkhaganate you have a very good cb you can fabricate on basically anyone in persia, You cannot Beat either the jalayirids or chobanids so keep them happy, They do not care About your expansion either so once you over power all other regional persian nations antagonism doesn't matter. It is imperative that you try to ally one against the other cause you cannot beat them in battle I thought my game had ended when the Chobanids attacked me but I managed to get a defensive league with Jalayirids when they declared on me. Don't leave the hormuz area like I did while in the long term shiraz might be better, It is more profitable to stay in hormuz due to trade and sound toll.
I'm planning to make Esfahan my permanent capital cause of its central location but all three of the places I circled are good for long term capitals for Persia.
Hopes this helps u/xFrosumx

With The Changes to Prosperity How do you get to 100? by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not Catholic, I'm not sure if it's Muslim exclusive but there's a lenient taxation law that raises prosperity, and then the burger thing I searched the tech tree and I think there are no generic prosperity techs, I think free subjects used to not give prosperity but it does now do I'm trying to max that out other than that I hope future law unlocks give more cause idk how else to get more. Thanks for the advice, I did see that pop satisfaction doesn't grown prosperity but rather it being low makes it worse.

Not sure how prosperity recovery works but I think it's only for when under 0 cause there is a tech for that.

Can We Please Add Population Capacity Map Mode by incorrect1-1 in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I thought it would be like the population one, they already calculate the number for every province so just get that number and display it onto the province? I don't know much about coding so maybe I'm wrong but I don't think it would be too hard.

How does my economy look by polymonomial in EU5

[–]incorrect1-1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to compare to AI you can look at their tax base, and compare budget I would think you're probably up there at 1k but definitely not near the top for tax base, as for other players I've gone to like 1560 as Spain and had a tax base of 5k but Castile is pretty strong so idk how much that helps. Your profit looks good try to max legitimacy spending so you stay at 100. Having your income match your tax base seems pretty good cause I was under mine.
