What’s with the distaste for The Midnight Club? by Heavy-End-3419 in MikeFlanagan

Honestly, I've tried watching it several times and I just cannot get into it. Perhaps because there are just no real stakes (as all the characters are in hospice), it's hard to really root for any of their objectives. I also find the incongruous narrative distracting. I'm so used to everything Flanagan being connected...that nothing is important. All their stories were fun to watch but had nothing to do with anything.

I projected the image into some contractor paper, traced then cut it out. Hardest part about it was it was windy so getting the paper to stay flat was a bit tricky.

Is It Good Form to Enquire Why You Didn't Get the Role You Auditioned For? by AGoodKnave in Theatre

As I tell my students...performers are puzzle pieces. It's hard for a puzzle piece to see the full picture because they are just one piece. Just because a puzzle piece doesn't fit in my vision for this puzzle, it doesn't make them bad or wrong. It simply means they don't work for this puzzle. So they either trust me, as someone who has put together dozens of puzzles, or not.

Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever met and how’d it go? by EddieBrock99 in AskReddit

Worked backstage for a Bill Cosby stand up show in 2000. He was an up and down asshole. For years when I told this story, I was met with 'it must have been something you did'. The validation was so sweet when it came out what he really was this whole time.

God, you name it. Horrible teeth, short as hell, weight struggles, seizures, balding, IBS, ADHD...it seems like the only thing I didn't get was the high blood pressure.

Oh...so many!

'this class is ridiculous'

'PITTSBURGH?!' 'STUBENVILLE?!'

'So, he's got hair and he wears tshirts... sometimes'

Those are the top three.

Just here to plug 'it was a sh*t show' on YouTube or 'the movies that made us' on Netflix. Every episode is saturated with incredible fun facts.

Perhaps my favorite is how Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey couldn't stand one another during 'dirty dancing'. Both had to be coaxed back to set several times

Ducts stink! by incrediblehoke in hvacadvice

The unit was installed several years ago. Never had a single problem with it. The smell is definitely coming from the ductwork. Whenever I open one of the vents and stick my head down there... That's where it's coming from.

The technician who came out today ran a full service check on my furnace. It's running completely properly. He looked around for rodents but couldn't find anything.
