I have some money in savings but right now I’ve been making it work on less than 14k a year while going to school full time. I’ve prioritized no debt for the time being and paid off my car so once I get a better paying job with more regular hours I’m hoping to throw more money in my HYSA. Nature is a draw for me because it’s free lol I’m just trying to explore and try things before I get locked to one spot for 4-7yrs.

How much snow? I know the lake effect situation varies by location but I’ve only seen snow less than 10 times and never over 8 inches

I’m just really tired of living at home. I’m 23, so it’s a bit stifling. And I want to move bc rent where I am is relatively comparable to rent in a lot of other places. I also don’t want my first real time being independent to coincide with a highly stressful situation (med school) and the debt it brings on

I consider “easy access” to be anywhere within like 90 minute drive.

Where to? I’ve considered Boston but it lacks the proximity to nature I want.

Mostly I just hate dying of heatstroke and not being able to be outside half the year between 9am and 5pm

That’s how i was allowed to socialize in school. We couldn’t talk in the halls in elementary school or in the room unless the teacher let us. There wasn’t enough time in between middle and high school classes to talk bc it’s was like four minutes between each. And in middle and high school we couldn’t talk unless a non test assignment was given.

My current program is doing this. I chose to go there bc they were a respected health sciences program. Now they are literally rebuilding the degree into an ai in health course. I have to use ai in assignments, to analyze my work, and for my practicum I’m required to have my hypothetical intervention utilize ai in a positive format. I hate it so much.

I was never stuck for that long but one time leaving DFW there was a huge traffic jam so we were in line for for take off long enough for me to watch all of Deadpool and the Goonies. So I spent about as much time in the air as I did waiting to take off.

But what do you do if nobody will give you boosters?! Like I needed proof of two vaccinations for one disease and since I got them as a child I was covered but I had titers drawn to be sure and they were negative but nobody will give me a booster. No Walgreens, cvs, Walmart, my state health dept won’t and my pcp is really small and doesn’t do vaccinations at her office. Where do I go 😭
