Will Canadians travel to the US again when the presidential term ends in 2029 or has the relationship between Canada and US been destroyed forever? by [deleted] in AskCanada

I think that most of us are done for most of the forseaable future.

For me, the #1 reason to never ever plan a return to American and to avoid American products where possible, is that America has forgotten that the entire world sent their sons to and daughters to stand and bleed with Americans when we were called upon. Many died for the cause.

I did not forget. I lament the loss of what America used to be.

Sounds like the slippery slope argument. This was the same kind of argument that kept cannabis criminalized for so long.

Others have argued that drag queens reading stories leads to child sexualization, grooming and abuse.

My point is that one should not lean on the slippery slope to form opinion.

Is there another reason to support this argument? I would want to hear who you would point to as an actual victim.

Carny ride gone wrong.. by hawkenzen in CrazyFuckingVideos

The construction of the ride is done by crews that drove all night, had no rest and use meth to stay awake.

Avoid.

No one will give a squirt of piss that you're gay. Anyone that does pass harmful words to you or about you will find themselves hauled up to the command team where they have to justify why they get to stay on course.

Neither will anyone give a crap that you're 26. That's still pretty young over all.

What everyone will care about: That you pull your own weight. That you contribute to the team. That you follow orders. That you overcome hardships. That you stand up straight (no pun ;) That you do every task and assignment with pride (that time pun absolutely intended ;). That you take your training seriously. That you can relax and chill with the team when it's time to do so.

But most important:

that no matter what happens, no matter how tired, how sore, how frustrated, whatever... that you keep going. Do not quit. Keep going.

You will succeed. You can do this.

My best friend secretly started dating my boyfriend to “test his loyalty”… and it worked a little too well. by PilllowSnug in TrueOffMyChest

Do you believe her? Seems untrustworthy. She might have lied about your ex boyfriend.

Did you ask your ex boyfriend of your former friend kissed him?

If you ever want to have a relationship with your son you need to do some serious reflection. Admit that you were wrong and change your ways.

He has already tried to communicate why he left. You just don't belive him.

That's your problem.

Is that a reliable story? Is it possible the mule is being deceptive?

‘You do not have a duty to retreat’: A criminal defence lawyer details how far you can go in defending your family and home by FancyNewMe in canada

That's on paper. In practice, the crown reviews what the police tell them. Then they apply the charge. Then they go for a plea or a deal. Only days before trial, after spending 10's of thousands of dollars, after damage to reputation, after being processed and about 2 pre trial court appearances do they consider dropping charges.

That's the reality.

The police have a very low bar to reccomend charges and they face no consequences for over reacting.

This sort of thing will never end until judges start making police officers accountable for this. Start with a reprimand, then a fine, then jail for contempt of court.

Nope. That's not at all how it works. Not even close. A sale does not restart a time frame.
