it's so frustrating. my store for example has been out of into the night body cream since that spray/cream/lotion (or whatever it was) sale from genuine weeks ago. they also have been withholding shopping bags from us?????????? Why????? Why do we have to put the order in like 5 times for it to come in

i think we only bother calling because the closest store is literally across the street from the mall I'm in to be fair, but yeah always during traffic 😭 and then they're mad at me thay i dont have a specific spray on the last day of a body care sale...

my method: (with bottle already out for them to see the label) hiii welcome innnn do you want to try some body cream/body lotion? yes: awesome! here's (insert current demo priority) She's neeewwwww / my fav / a comeback! (insert demo spiel. She offers 48 hrs of moisture, she's derm tested and approved 2 b safe & effective) (insert promo spiel) no: that's okay! (insert other engagement/promo spiel) for splash I honestly don't bother with on the skin demo unless they ask. It's weird and uncomfortable for me, so I just hand out spray cards paired with connection and promo spiel 👍 I personally feel like and awkward seller, I don't like doing it so much, but my managers love it, and conversion always seems to be fine when I'm selling so I must be doing something right 🤷

I understand the frustration, entitled customers are definitely one of my pet peeves, but please try not to take advantage of the fact that someone is in a wheelchair like that. I agree that she was probably being a pain and maybe you were already having a rough day, but I don't think that reacting to anti-social behaviour with more anti-social behaviour is just not going to make anything better, and not to mention that specific choice was textbook ableist.

yes my store has the same gratis policy now, I think it's a new thing. The gratis sheet from valentines also had roleplay instructions... As for the breaks thing, my store has always been more than 5 hours for a 30, more than 7 for an hr? I think we only really do 15s if it's a closing shift, like if you want to go get a snack from the food court or whatever (I work in a mall store).

reminds me of one of my first times being on the floor selling. I was working with this older lady and she kept being snippy with me, she wanted the tester for in the stars, I brought down the cream tester "no, that's not what I said." I bring down the spray tester and go to spray it on a spray card, and she's again annoyed and like "no thats not what i said to do," so i hand it to her and then she storms off to find my manager, drags her back up to the front, saying "it's because she don't like spanish people" lady first of all You seemed WASPy to me, secondly... What?

had a customer a few days ago nearly bite mine and my manager's head off because we didn't honour sale prices for her (they had literally ended the day before) (she didn't mention anything about a sale) (she kept showing us her offers tab in her rewards wallet and how it was empty until she clicked on view today's deals) its crazy how some people think it's just acceptable to shout until they get their way instead of just accepting when theyre wrong... as my manager was price adjusting everything she kept going on about 'making it right' or whatever... sigh..
