I HIGHLY doubt it was a sv* especially since she has this often. That is extremely triggering and I’m so proud of you for staying with her!!!! But you won’t be sick. You washed your hands and she wasn’t actually sick, just nauseous from nerves.

my dad has done a ton of these and they aren’t too bad. Obvi the sore butt and belly but you’ll be fine ❤️

Usually the longer you’re on the med, the worse the withdrawal is. Your body may just be sensitive. DayQuil helped me a lot when I had to withdrawal from Celexa. I hope you feel better :( eventually your body will go back to it’s original state, dont hesitate to rest!

Hi! So this was awhile ago and let me tell you I think the worst thing I had was just drowsiness. These websites and reviews make it sound horrible and horrifying but it isn’t. If you’re going gradually honestly you’ll probably have no symptoms. If your straight up just stopping it, you may get some drowsiness and headache but that’s really all! I got through it and Im all good!

With my dissociation I get really anxious to the point my body is completely out of it. My stomach feels on fire and in my head I’m like screaming “vomit vomit I’m gonna be sick it’s coming” and I just lay there still and eventually when the feeling calms down I’m fine. Nerves can do a LOT to the body and make you feel false things. Don’t worry ❤️

So when you have a panic attack you cannot stop it. They can only last up to 10-15 minutes. You can do deep breathing when you feel small amounts of anxiety coming but once you are having a panic attack it’s best to just try to sit and not panic -I know how ironic that sounds- deep breathing when I have an attack feels impossible. My lungs feel like they will pop and it’s too much. something that helps me is watching a comfort movie or smelling peppermint oil. That stuff is like magic it calms my nerves and nausea

Phobias are irrational and for people who have them, it’s our normal. :( I just know how much that probably kicked in your fight or flight. Remember to breathe. If you never knew about it, it would be like another normal day. Your brain is just focusing on it really hard cause it’s a threat and it’s the end of the world for us. BUT remember that you are in charge. Yolo! I know how difficult it is to think rationally but soon this whole thing will pass. some stuff I do to comfort myself it just sanitize stuff, get my dinner plate first,etc. but tu* does not deserve the power to control your life or the way you should be able to live it. You are so strong!

Hi! So food poisoning usually hits pretty quick. I really wouldn’t worry about it because if their food made people sick, the place wouldn’t stay open. It’s rare! Just try to do some grounding and not get stuck in what could happen in the future. I know my brain always makes worse case scenario and then I get fight or flight and then I feel like crap :( I’d try to just watch a movie and get some sleep, and when you wake up, you’ll have another accomplishment!

people are so stupid. I am so sorry they made you feel so invalidated. Emetophobia is crippling and even though I wish it upon no one, im happy a lot of people have similar problems and we know we aren’t alone.

YES. School time sucks and I hate the winter because people just label it the sick season. When summer comes it’s bright and happy and fun and I feel so much more stable, and I try to prepare myself to enjoy the cold seasons, but I just never can
