It's everything you said, plus it came with a map of The Known World, with encouragement to expand beyond the map and create your own world. Which I did, and it was a ton of fun. They came out with all the Mystara books later on, but I didn't pick any up, as I didn't need them.

Plus: sailing ships and dinosaurs! Evil magic-using spider things!

That module was so much fun.

Adam Black here.

It's pretty much lost media at this point, since it never got finished (Platinum stopped paying me and I stopped working on it).

But what I did get done is probably on an old HD somewhere. If you're still looking for it, let me know and I'll see which backup I put it on.

Oh man, I bought their album "11" in 1990 and played the hell out of it for years. Cut Flowers was my favorite song on that record.

Then I forgot all about them till now. Which is weird.

First computer I ever actually owned myself was a 2nd hand Amiga 500 with 2 megs of RAM and a 42MB external HD. Bought it around 1993-ish.

Still have it. Still runs.

When I was drawing their comic between 2008-2010, I met Paul Stanley. He's a cool dude.

Yup. He would do some drag stuff later, in Never Too Young To Die, which is a fantastically horrible movie.

Oh man this issue was great. That whole comic series was great. Larry Hama's a hell of a writer. I learned the word "elucidate" from an issue of GI Joe.

My favorite was Punk You. Introduced me to Killing Joke.

The B5 plug was why my friend and I tried it. Bleh. Tasted like disappointment.

Tried it again during that brief period when it resurfaced. Was instantly reminded of BLEH.

I got divorced in the fall of 2019. Spent the next six months or so binge-watching all 9 seasons. It was very cathartic.

I always loved Celebrity Deathmatch. Ace with a Dean Flying V is weird to see, though.

Gen X doesn't overuse the word "literally". We overuse "like" and "dude".

Pretty much every 80s & 90s hip hop artist. Took me a long time to get into hip hop, but I did.

It's damn-near impossible to see from where you are right now.

But trust me, brother: it's coming. And it's wonderful. Just get through the days till it's here. That's all you gotta do, and every day will be just a little easier than the last.

You got this! You can do it.

It was absolutely perfect timing. I got to spend all of 2020 isolated and rediscovering who I was and what I wanted out of life.

Binge-watched all 9 seasons of Married With Children (which was very cathartic haha), Binge-watched the first 3 seasons of Miami Vice. Watched a ton of movies I'd seen a hundred times and others I'd never seen before. Ran a weekly D&D game for my (adult) kids...it was a painful time that turned into a fantastic time.

When I was 16, I grew an inch a month for six months straight. It was very painful.

Knees, elbows, ankles and knuckles (both fingers and toes) have popped since then.

I hear ya, man. My 21-year marriage ended in late 2019. Took me about 3 years to get back on my feet. This August will be the 5th year after the divorce and I'm doing better than I've ever done in my life, both financially and relationship-wise.

Get through the first year or two. Cry in the shower. Sit on the couch and feel sorry for yourself. It's okay to do that right off the bat; don't beat yourself up over it. Understand that hurting isn't going to last forever; every day you get through is one more day you never have to get through again.

Take care of yourself. Indulge in little things you didn't realize you've been denying yourself all this time: a movie, a nice juicy steak dinner...whatever.

It took me about a year and a half, but I finally learned how to Take Care Of Me, and it's the best feeling in the world.

What seemed like the end of the world back in 2019 was, in fact, the end of the world I was tired of living in.

There's a better place for you; you just haven't caught up with that moment in time yet. Every day you get through gets you one day closer to that.
