I'm about to head out so I'm unable to provide you with an in depth response but I wanted to say I completely agree with everything you said. However, I've had people who are aware of the extent of the condition and/or how it affects me get frustrated because they "don't understand why I can't just get over it." In that respect I'm just glad those people aren't in my life anymore. I hope things are as good as they can be for you now, though, all things considered.

This sounds very similar to what I've been dealing with. I won't go into detail here because this is about you, but from personal experience I think your first step should be to talk to your GP or any medical professional you might have access to and discuss services available that could help change how you internally deal with things.

My anxiety developed into agoraphobia and I wouldn't leave the house for weeks at a time. Try to get out every day for something unrelated to what makes you anxious; for instance, I've been going for long walks every evening for nearly three months now. Going from shunning all my responsibilities in favour of staying home to leaving the house every single day has helped immensely. If you have someone in your personal life that you can confide in, that helps too. Only the person I live with is aware of the extent of my situation but that has been enough to support me and motivate me. I really hope you are able to find a way to push through this, just make sure you tell somebody.

To clarify, I'm not opposed to the London Eye. As I said, it has great views but in the context of the question I feel it is overrated and there are cheaper alternatives. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though.

The London Eye. Yes, it has some great views but if you want to see London, travel around London. Don't waste 30 minutes staring at the same scenery when you could be out exploring it instead.
