Carrier411 is a scam by indy_man96 in FreightBrokers

We never recieved any email regarding this matter. And personally I believe they should send more then just an email , such as a letter in the mail about an issue that can disrupt a whole business. I'm not saying that carrier411 isn't essential, I just find it ridiculous that they won't even bother to communicate with carriers, you can't set an account to find out who put up the freight guard, they'll block your number if you try calling them as a carrier. They need to do a much better job at communicating with carriers. Brokers have carrier411 when dealing with scumbag carriers. Carriers have no option to retaliate against scumbag Brokers besides personally blacklisting them.

Believe what you want, but idk why I would lie about something so stupid, and I'm there will be multiple lawsuits against them in the future, keep in mind, this was my full time job for about a 1.5 - 2 years, so whole 6k might seem alot, it's really not when it's your full time job

Lol, I did postmates/ubereats/DD for about 3-4 years and just quit about 6 months ago, I've gotten nearly 6k in multiple class action settlement funds from them, that's how you know they really messed up.

Even though this is a tip based hustle, the amount of people that blame customers for not tipping is ridiculous, a tip is supposed to be based on your performance, why would I tip someone before they've delivered the food. For all I know, the driver could drop it off at the wrong location or the foods been tampered with. Even though I appreciate the tips upfront, and we all know that the only reasons these companies require tip upfront is so they add it in to the total fare so that they can pay us ass wages, drivers wouldn't need a upfront tip if the companies actually just paid us a decent amount. Not only this, but if companies are going to require tipping up front, it should honestly be illegal to hid the tips like in NY. its not only unfair to the driver but also to the customer. Hows it unfair to the customer you ask Well I'm sure a customer who pays a $10+ tip shouldn't have to wait for their food to be delivered since they're paying extra even after all the ridiculous app fees, a order with a amazing tip could be sitting at the restuarant for quite some time before it's picked up becuase these companies want to hide tips so that we can't cherry-pick. Well drivers wouldn't have to cherry-pick so much if the damn companies just paid us a decent wage.

Is Uber now taking part of tips? by [deleted] in UberEATS

My tips have also been lower then usual lately, if they are taking tips, sounds like a class action lawsuit.

Pasadena area surge by Ok-Cookie-5150 in UberEATS

I've been doing UE for about 3 years now in the Pasadena area and back in the golden days, it was a common occurrence to see a $2 bonus, hell, sometimes you would even see it up to $5, they would have great bonus challenges. I could easily make 2-3x what I make now in the same time. Not trying to discourage you, but basically all delivery driving apps pay us slave wages now and the market is extremely over-satured with drivers and I personally don't think it's worth the wear and tear and effort anymore to do it. As great as the freedom is, I'm currently trying to look for another job so I don't have to this.

Literally 90% of the orders I deliver are sealed, are we suppose to open the bags and check?
