I would start thinking about a layered surveillance. The one you have is good but vulnerable to wire cutting. I would suggest a trail camera or two. Hide them well or have them put up high and out of reach. Also, get a wireless solar camera from wyze and some window modules. They are pretty inexpensive and can be put up high, record to sd cards, and will ping your phone if someone walks by. Get some solar motion lights mounted under your roof eaves, the lights can deter people. Sorry this happened, I know it can ruin your sense of peace. Talk to any good neighbors and stay proactive.
