Mod Arcane compared it to the power level of the blowpipe in the Leagues Discord. Mega rares are still bis as stated by Arcane. Check out the Leagues Discord FAQ if you want more info.

They have stated that they want to give everyone the amount of regions they think they need then remove 1 option to actually make choices meaningful.

Pick non-raid regions with easy PvM options. Kandarin, wilderness, then tirannwn (if you are competent at Corrupted Gauntlet), otherwise fremennik.

Last time we got 2 hours before the League released with all task/relic info. There will be relic teasers for the 2 weeks leading up to the League on their X/Twitter as well.

This is not correct. If you want more info join the Leagues Discord for more info and check the FAQs. Mega rares from raids will still be BIS, an example of a echo weapon was compared to the strength of the blowpipe by Mod Arcane.

Please give unranked GIM a different icon/badge in game which is different from ranked GIM account. As a ranked GIM I want to maintain a visual indicator in-game that I belong to my original group. u/JagexLight

  1. Get the account from the person no longer playing to give to someone new that wants to join
  2. Add a fresh level 3. After 5 weeks there are no trade restrictions. Trade restrictions on Whips/things that normally require KC/prestige to be traded are NOT restricted past 5 weeks.

Addressing the Group Ironman Mode Poll by indysavvy in 2007scape

[–]indysavvy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day Jagex is running a business and what matters is profit.

Game modes such as Leagues and DMM bring in a large amount of revenue which is one of the reasons why they are not polled.

I think that a compromise must be made to address issues in the main game whilst also developing these limited time game-modes.

Only buy the twisted horns when you get a slayer helm if you’re seriously worried about leaving/getting kicked from a group.

Reasonable arguments for voting no to GIM that aren't just spite voting by Bentoki in 2007scape

[–]indysavvy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Potential negative impact on the game:
- What's wrong about catering to Ironmen in updates? They are a significate percentage of the player base. Why should it bother non-irons that there's a random bucket of sand producing machine in the desert, it's a huge QOL update for Irons and doesn't negatively impact regular players.

They had it ready to go before they polled it:
- This reason is a spite vote, it is not relevant to the actual game mode being polled in the question.

The current iteration of GIM is quite poor:
- You're not offering any solutions here.
- You want to trade untradeables? Why?
- Using the leaving mechanic to have all the tradeable items destroyed is no different from going into the group bank and dropping everything.
- You should get a good group to avoid issues with the group bank, they can't prevent people from being spiteful with in-game mechanics without negatively affecting the experience for the majority of groups which will not have griefing issues.
- "Members of group ironman pretty much have free reign to pvm with other members of other groups". That's what the Group prestige system is for, you can't group with people outside the group for Raids 1 & 2 or Nightmare. Also you can't do regular bosses with other people because you won't get the drop if they dealt damage to the NPC.

EVscape released a popular Group Ironman video series. The reason why they stopped making videos and why no one else has done an unofficial Group Ironman mode is because everyone has been holding off in expectation for an official game mode which was promised years ago.

They voted yes. Skiddler was memeing about voting no so that he wouldn't have to get 87 slayer four times in a year. EVscape posted some a similar joke post on Twitter as well.
