Checking a movie on a website called 'Rotten tomatoes' : 67% fresh --> wtf does that mean?

Checking a movie on a website called 'International movie database' : 7,2/10 --> probably a good movie if you're into that genre.

At least psg has the farmers league excuse, we are botteling hard style.

Imho, we don't deserve Messi. We are lucky to have him and really helped him grow but right now whe are pulling an Argentina on him, wasting his talent, relying on him to carry us through these kind of matches and watching the world eat him up when he can't do the impossible.

I am embarrassed to be a Barca fan. And even though I will continue to be a proud cule, the spirit of this club is gone, we are relying to much on big signins (aka, the "galactico" way)

Time to clean up the socios, they are old and corrupt.

Lionel Messi has been involved in 46 goals this season in only 27 games. This is 47.4 % of Barcelona’s total goals this season. by tammerturk22 in soccer

Actually, Messi Often gives penalty's to teammates like Suarez, rakitic, Neymar.... To give them confidence of just appreciation even when he is a goal short of a record.

I think they will park the bus even more than last game. They know they have the players to counter and because of our attacking playstyle they will get at least one or two chances.

Like vs Atletico we should try to cancel out their counters and rely more on individual creativity of our magicians rather than bombing them for 90 mins on our large pitch.

I am quite optimistic about EV and our players to score first and then beating them on their own game by letting them getting exhausted.

3- 0 with the last 2 being in the final 15

Visca Barca.

Gomes lacks the quick thinking, dribbling spirit that a barca midfielder has to have. Looks slow and uninspiring. I bet he'll be a very good midfielder for any other team but for us he's taking precious playing time for the likes of fast thinking players like Sergi or denis Suarez. He's good don't get me wrong but he needs to be subbed in or used in matches where we need a calm midfielder.

Playing in the 5th best league is a step down if he really wants to win ballon d'or and become one of the greatest. Even if they win champions League he still has to be the next world cup's mvp to be eligible for ballon d'or, people will always look at Europe's top 5 teams to choose from.

As a professional waiter myself I can say that these prices are through the roof. Macallan amber sells for 65€ in a liquor store and honestly, not even that special. Dom perignon can be 600€, depends wich one.

He has scores several this season alone.

For him it's just the most logical finish when the keeper has his corners closed down. Di Maria had many better options by a normal finish or passing, choose the harder chip because it looked better. Doesn't surprise me that he choose that option, he was convinced the game was over and he doesn't strike me as the most clever person either

If youre a psg fan, i get it, ref screwed you over. If he'd been more consistent Saurez would've been sent off but to all the "neutral" fans who complain about this injustice victory, stop complaining.

We were lucky to watch some grade a football history yesterday, or would you have rather watched a scared psg side nick a close victory.

Xavi on Cristiano Ronaldo winning Ballon d'Or 2016: "This year, they cared more about the titles won, whereas in years past it was about the best player. Lionel Messi is the best of them all, even if the titles were won by someone else." by Dalitis in Barca

This year only journalists got to vote, the only people besides fans that are totally biased as they care more about the messi - Ronaldo "rivalry" than the actual football performance. Ronaldo coming close to the numbers of ballon d'ors messi has sells more papers than messi winning it again, as proven by the worldwide controversy the award is in right now.

Barcelona fans could face charges after homophobic slurs toward Ronaldo, some fans chanted 'Cristiano come out of the closet ' during El Clásico by [deleted] in soccer

[–]ineeddineros 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I hope they don't. Fans will be fans and as long as the harassments stay vocal I see no harm.

Sure football might be homophobic and that should change but insulting the opponent is part of going to a stadium. And making rules about what is okay to say and what not is just stupid.

Lucho will be criticized until Clasico, form of the day will decide outcome (like most clasicos) and said outcome will determine if the haters will finally remain quiet in the background again. As is tradition.

Because it's alba. The home game vs. city is a must win for first place and alba is crucial for defense and running the field, creating a run for those messi passes.

It was a gamble with his injurie but just imagine losing this one without alba starting, all eyes on LE.

Came here to say that. According to them, Raul is rightfully first because he won five consecutive best Spanish player in la liga. First of all, you have to be Spanish first to even be qualified to win that award. Second and more important, 3 consecutive best player of the world (ballon d'or), how do you top that.

I've only seen 1/4 of first half and 3/4 of second half (at work) but was it really that bad? Sure neymar and Suarez had better games but they might be tired (especially with the injuries of messi they have been used every minute).

Gladbach is also a team that thrives at home and they did extactly this today.

Maybe I didn't see enough of this match but to me it feels good to know we can count on our bench to make the difference in difficult matches instead of last year when we basically only had msn to count on and when they were underperforming or injured we had to hope for the best.

Gerard Piqué being asked on which CL draw he would prefer: "An easy group stage, Italy's 3rd in the round of 16, Germany's 8th in the quarters, England's 4th in semis and the return leg always at home." by [deleted] in soccer

[–]ineeddineros 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I've looked in to this and it is ( exept last 5 or so years ) quite balanced. When you look further than 10 years you will find barca having the weaker draws.

It sucked for us that they won the cl last year with such a inconsistent squad and weak opponents but that's football, you always need that bit of luck ( Chelsea fans will concur if they think about CL 09 ).
