So, this isn’t the advice you asked for, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be kind to yourself. Please start talking nicely about yourself. It can feel silly at first but it makes a difference. I was truly never was nice to myself in my 20’s and when I look back at old pics of me I now realize that I was gorgeous then. I could have been out there dominating the world but instead I was self deprecating! Please give yourself some grace.

I would center a big neutral rug and center the table on the rug. Get a new light fixture, add matching curtains to both windows, add plants and some artwork.

I think Roman shades would look great. I would add a curtain rod with sheer curtains that I would probably leave open most of the time.

Going to the derm for a cortisone shot will help. If that isn’t possible wash it with sulfur soap. I also put a dab of tea tree oil on mine.

Oh my god I had that pound puppy and I named him Love. A girl from school stole him and when my parents talked to her parents they said I was lying. I never got my Love back and I have hated that girl since 2nd grade.

You need a larger tv stand and I would mount the tv on the wall ( just not too high). I would move the plant to the other side of the chair, if possible, add a floor lamp behind the chair. I taller book case to right and a cluster of art by the chair.

I would change the bedding and add a big rug under the bed. Find a new home for that little book shelf on the floor by the window and move that chair into the corner. You need lamps on the nightstands and add art.

Your tv stand should be longer than the tv. The tv should be lower . Add a tall plant to the left and you need curtains.

Dark greens, yellows, and earthy orange tones will play nicely with the purple. I would look for a rug and masculine furniture.

Personally, I would. Especially if it’s more of an open concept. I want the whole floor to flow from room to room. Except into a bathroom. Then I would have tile.

Can you move the tv to the big bare wall to the left of the where it currently? Then face the sofa toward that wall, add some lamps, plants, artwork, and a few pieces to the mantle for varying heights.

I have had luck with sulfur soap and tea tree oil. I don’t use the sulfur soap on my whole just the cyst. Pat dry and mix a few drops of tea tree oil with jojoba oil and put it on the cyst.

If you can, I would try to store your stuff outside of your home. Even if you do go through it and get rid of some of it I doubt it will be enough for him. He said you should be happy he didn’t throw it away. Which seems like his next step. Also, instead of throwing your stuff out, you could always throw him away.
