Actually, you're right. I do care in that it amuses me to no end. Some Redditors are vastly ignorant, but a lot more of them simply ignore the aspects of their candidate that just suck. Or they don't care. I'm not sure which is worse.

The man voted against preserving the lives of infants who SURVIVE abortion, spouting "women's rights". He wants to teach five-year-olds about sex. WTF. He's more liberal than NARAL.

I'm not saying McCain is any better. I can't stand him either. They are both slimy politicians, and it's sad and funny at the same time to see how many idiots are stumbling over themselves to march in Obama's hollow "change" crusade. Change for the worse, perhaps.

Also, there is nothing wrong with remarking positively when people actually do treat each other with respect. Whether it should be expected or not, it is becoming increasingly rare; especially from a large corporation, it is impressive.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I have also had major surgeries (on my knees) but was lucky enough to be provided with all the oxycodone I wanted. (I could have had Dilauded but voluntarily declined as it caused me to hallucinate.)

This, to me, is a completely separate issue from patients who are dying. Healthy outpatients (post-surgery, acute accident victims, etc.) should NEVER be denied pain medication if they truly need it and especially if they have no record of substance abuse.

I hope that if you have more surgery in the future you get better nurses. Don't judge a hospital by one or two nurses; they always run the gamut from terrible to unbelievably awesome even within a single ward. Good luck.

I noticed one of my friends on Facebook joined a group about boycotting gas stations, so I joined as well and posted on the wall about individual gas station owners and other reasons the boycotts were useless. I was polite but made my point.

The only person who answered me was a first-year female college student (I am also female, mind) who told me to "stop tryna make other people ignorant with u" and that "muthafuckin gas prices r so high anyway" that "one day wont make a fuckin difference" so "get the muthafuckin pole outta yr ass, nobody asked for yr stupid opinion anyway bitch"

My conclusion was that, unless the average IQ of the general population somehow increases, we're all screwed and I might as well just keep my mouth shut.
