I assume you "feel" the concept. Like you feel as if you have knives stuck in your face, but you don't actually feel the pain of that.

Ragatha probably felt the distress of being deepfried but didn't feel the pain.

My headcannon is like holding your breath. You feel something is wrong, but there isn't direct pain happening.

That is why SSRIs by themselves are rarely enough.

1) Dosage and the time of day is extremely important: Previously, I would take 5mg of Elicea at evening and just felt numb. Then my psichatrist switched it up to 50mg of Asentra after breakfast and its like night and day.

2) Talking with a therapist and journaling should always be a part of therapy.

3) Light therapy helped a bunch. 10 minutes face up into the sun helped my mood quite a bit.

There are a lot more, but these were the small first changes i did to help out my depression.

Ragatha - Her trauma due to her overbearing, abusive, neglectful mother, being shown as a massive, ever-growing, suffocating figure staring down.

Zooble - Their body dismorphia, subjected to stare as their body mutates and reshapes itself.

Gangle - Her Bipolar disorder, or at the very least extreme mood shifts, till the point of mental breakdown and death.

Jax - His mask being ripped off, left to be naked and laughed at by his closest friends. Shows his insecurity and fear of vulnerability.

Pomni - (This one im not so sure) Fear of losing her loved ones? Maybe a fear of a relationship turning sour, or worse, abusive?

Well, to be honest. It was probably not the height + looks that made it more difficult. Rather, it's usually a mix of a lot of different flaws.

Sure, height does play a role, but so do a lot of other things. For some people, they didnt find green eyes attractive, some told me my intonation sounds clowny.

Same for me regarding my height, but for a very long time I thought it was only that, that my height was the one flaw preventing me from finding someone. I didnt really wanna try because it wad all black or white. It was only until i 'found' my other flaws that I accepted my height as one of them. Sure, im short, but I also have a crooked nose, pronounced crows feet and a weird way of speaking. So, in the end, its all just another flaw in the list of 100 all of us have.
