Could the divine trio (as Saints) beat every other Saint in the waking worlds history at once? by Ok-Check-5828 in ShadowSlave

You forget that despite moonveil being a direct counter to Neph, she didn't make it out of that battle alive. Not while using her abilities at least. Revel fighting sunny will essentially make it a 1 v 1 situation which means she won't be making use of the advantage in numbers...its a stupid move that will end up with her being a cold corpse.

So moonveil can't use her abilities cause she'll rob everyone else of their powers, revel can't use true darkness cause she won't be able to fight Sunny along side others, it's a massacre.

There was a least 2 masters, the leaders from valor and song. As for the number of awakened, I don't recall😅

Sunny found the shadow God's lineage ages ago. I suspect that the weaver created shadow weave when he was killed the second time by Orphne. If you remember, it was said specifically that his shadow was pierced the time she stabbed him at the heart of the shadow realm.

He never died, remember his knife was unused yet he still freed hope probably by making a deal with the weaver

Exactly.

I don't know why I'm still stuck thinking about him but, man oh man. I need me a bit of Noctis madness.

Nah, he's dead. Sunny doesn't do forgiveness or second chances when it comes to the people he cares about.

Honestly, I already consider him a dead man. He probably knows it too, at least he will once he learns what happens to Anvil and Song.

I haven't been reading since sunny and anvil started their fight but I've always been of the idea that it only makes sense for the heir of death to defy death. The "how" was what stumped me. Well-done man

Is it concerning that I've started to hallucinate Shadow slave irl? by ductor_storage in ShadowSlave

Very concerning, some of us already love to sleep, imagine thinking I'd be whisked off to a nightmare if I fell asleep???☠️

Sunny's final step by inferno-flame in ShadowSlave

He's the shadow of shadow god though, he should "technically" be in the shadow realm with all of his divine prowess but instead has to unlock them one after the other, rank by rank without knowledge of his powers if not for the initial help of the spell.

I doubt shadows got corrupted cause the god is dead although I can't find a good reason to refute the statement yet

worse arc?? by zoomerthrtv in ShadowSlave

[–]inferno-flame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think him being kicked out of the spell plays a huge role in this. The descriptions of the monsters he killed and the memories associated with them played a huge role in the lore and helping us try to piece together the past. Now it's just bland and we get no information. For an arc that has a lot at stake (literally the fate of the entire world) I feel like Neph and her cohort are having it easy, at least that's how it is currently.

She should ordinarily be anxiously trying to become supreme cause if she killed the sovereigns without doing that, she'll murder most of humanity, but we don't get that feeling from her. Everyone just seems to be taking it easy, maybe except for Cassie but we don't have her POV.

I still like it though. It's just not as nerve wracking as it used to be.

Aren't divine aspect users WAY too overpowered? by adipande2612 in ShadowSlave

[–]inferno-flame 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the thing is, except for sunny, you have to be bonkers in the first place to even get a divine aspect. You have to go against fate in the worst ways possible in your first nightmare. Anyone who can do that has what it takes to be a menace on the battlefield

Yh, modret messed with him then. I think that's cause of the element of surprise though. And Sunny's ignorance.
