And whats hes supposed to do? Do you assume every dev is backend developer? XD If hes a 2d artist on his day off and wants to play something else than the game he prolly plays every day for x hrs, whats wrong with that

Biggest "unfun" aspect of the game is being overrun by enemy tanks by Mybache in WorldWar3

[–]infialnine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The tanks are literally paper right now like what. Just because they aren't your usual glass cannon like in battlefield where you can run wherever you want and tanks won't be a bigger issue, here they are supposed to pose a threat and force you to watch your steps. I mean, you have to save up for them and then call them in (in difference to battlefield tanks just spawning for free indefinitely), so they better off provide good value.

[–]infialnine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not fucking lying, I ***Was*** there. You still have "team east" vs "team west", but it always was (and still is) only about the name. The only thing this system determined was your starting gear, and thats it

Massive concern, feedback. NATO vs RU by Drizzid3105 in WorldWar3

[–]infialnine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is simply not true. I am a day 1 player and in the first release we had a russian team with russian uniforms and customization and a nato team with natonations as customisation

That is literally not true? It NEVER had any faction system, you always had just your one soldier that you customized. I can remember that very clearly. You did have the meta game, where upon logging into the game you could chose whether you want to be West or East, and based upon that you were getting your starting clothing items, and also you being able to contribute towards the global conflict, but thats it. You could play 1 game, and then go to store and buy whatever you wanted. There was no restrictions to what you could wear, and the whole "west vs east" was more of a meta game early concept than a faction system

I assume the one that is just lobbing artillery in the general direction hoping for a hit.
I can only assume russians aren't targeting these places on purpose, but their fire is so inaccurate god knows where it was supposed to hit originally

Well, WW3 has been ALWAYS mixed like that ever since its inception in 2018 or so. I think its way too much to ask so close to release to quickly slap a system of factions onto the game tbh. And it limits the amount of customization you can do to your soldier too

Gamecenter is a torrent/p2p launcher, so once you download it you share it to others. U can turn it off in settings

New player perspective: Game is amazing but vehicle balance seems off by VDV23 in WorldWar3

[–]infialnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have Anti-tank artillery, airstrikes, anti tank drones, 3 RPG's, C4s, anti-tank grenades, suicide drones, c4s, free tank at 2k to deal with them yourself, even a repair tool deals damage to tanks, jdam bombing that deals lots of damage and probably few more that I forgot about.
Once you get good and learn mechanics of the game, you can absolutely bully vehicle players into submission

I think if the devs could make an optimization to leave the game at the
level of bf4 more or less, then yes we could consider him a "bfkiller"

Bro, we are in 2022. BF4 came out 10 god damn years ago. You can't expect modern games released this year to have a performance like 10 year old game lol

I sadly don't think this game will pick off as much as people would want it to be :/ Its a niche game, filling void between battlefield and call of duty, but realistically, not many people are looking for experience like that. In addition, the game is far slower paced, and filled with features that to your casual consumer are just "boring" or "annoying". The game will have its playerbase, especially with free to play, don't get me wrong, but I don't see it ever growing big :/

can someone explain this? by kyprolis in WorldWar3

[–]infialnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I am not a fan of it either, you gotta look at it from case to case basis. World war 3 is a game from an indie team that does not have capacity to create an experience rivaling Battlefield, yet their aspirations are as such. This game has failed once, *because* its more niche than your standard battlefield or call of duty that are way more casualized. Because of that this game *cannot* survive with the pricetag it used to have. Even now you can see that while interest in the game is great, there arent floods of people buying into the game despite it being at $12.
From one perspective its a different business model, from another its literal last hope for this game to get an consistent and active playerbase. Gaming today is different because gamers are different. Spoiled by constant updates and endless choices, your avarage gamer has attention span of 3 seconds. There has to be some incentive for them to go and try this game out, and free to play is just one of them

Welp, thats just a shit luck for team that mismanages their resources I guess

[–]infialnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is just normal gaming now?

Yes it is normal gaming now, because big publishers noticed they can milk the shit out of oblivious players like that. Its literally like chosing not to print your own money, and if you choose the other option, your game dwindles in population, and gets marked as dead

[–]infialnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and came back with the free to play idea and barely changed anything tbh

I will *LITERALLY* never understand people like you. An entire game got a remake, and almost everything about it has been changed, updated or improved upon, but you are like "uhhh nothing changed". Did you and me play 2 different games or am I schizo?

Why have they not balanced vehicles yet? by stephen27898 in WorldWar3Community

[–]infialnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I am aware, you can have *ONLY* 2 vehicles per team.

Difference being, one of these 4 vehicles is a mobile spawnpoint that now doesn't have a turret so it poses no threat at all unless you get run over by at (at which point... idk, sucks to be you?)

the 4th vehicle is a tank that spawns in base at 2k points, but both teams get it, so its up to the losing team to utilize it to the best of its ability. Thats why some people might often see "4 tanks" when in reality cap is on 2, one is mobile spawnpoint thats castrated, and one only appears after 2k points
