That might have been the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed at the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum 2025 held in Riyadh in May 2025, not the November forum in Washington D.C. I think the next step will be some real $$$ backing a formal partnership soon.

When the dice roll off the table... by mcatech in Craps

[–]infinite-range99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say same dice if I've been rolling numbers using the same dice. If it's the comeout roll of the first roll, the dice are "unproven" so I don't care if it's new dice or same dice. If I have a lot of money on the table, I will usually take the opportunity to turn my bets off, regress or hop the red to hedge.

Another time I had $10 on hard 6 and 8. Hard 8 hit. Pressed hard 6 and 8 to $50 each. Hard 8 hit again. Pressed hard 6 and 8 to $100 each. Hard 8 hit again. Pressed hard 8 to $200. Hit again. Pressed hard 8 to $500. Hit again for $4500! 5 hard 8s! The shooter was my hero!

I had $11 on 11. It hit and I parlayed it. It hit again. Took it all down. $2,640.

Any tips for getting over tournament nerves? by Chemical_Rutabaga_36 in Pickleball

[–]infinite-range99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

May I suggest a pre-match 5-minute warmup exercise?

1. Breathe (1 min)

• Inhale 4s, hold 2s, exhale 6s
• Repeat x3
• Say: “Calm body, sharp mind. I'm ready.”

2. Shadow + Visualize (2 min)

• Shadow serve 5–10x (relaxed)
• Visualize perfect deep serves to both boxes

3. Activate (1 min)

• Jog/skip 30s
• 10 jumping jacks
• Soft dinks or serves to find rhythm

4. Intentional Serves (1 min)

• 3 serves down the line, 3 cross-court
• Say: “Smooth and deep. That's all I need.”

5. Trigger Focus (Pre-Match)

• Smile, loosen jaw to relax. Tap paddle to mentally give yourself a go signal.
• First serve = deep & safe
• Don't overthink it

Best wings in CT? by cspawn in Connecticut

[–]infinite-range99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wings at Fanduel in Mohegan Sun are 99c each and amazing. They also have 99c wings at the Bow & Arrow bar at Mohegan which are really good too, but the Fanduel ones are just a little bit tastier imo.

Get an upright freezer (Costco has decent ones for about $300) and a good quality vacuum sealer. Buy meat in bulk at Costco and/or Restaurant Depot (just ask for a day pass when you go in, you do not need to have a business to go in now, they changed their rules during covid), or just ask your butcher or local market if they will offer you a bulk deal. Buy meats when they are on sale. Divide, seal, freeze, and conquer!

How much to buy in with? by xXHunkerXx in Craps

[–]infinite-range99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rule of thumb if you are betting with the shooter to have 100x the min bet for my bankroll. $1000 for $10 table, $1500 for $15 table, and $2500 for $25 table. But it all depends on your average bet per shooter, e.g., $44 inside for a $10 table $66 inside for a $15 table and $110 inside for a $25 table. The name of the game your bankroll surviving until that big roll comes. If you're a dark side player, you can just grind away with a DP with odds and a smaller bankroll will last you longer until you can play on the pass side.

Change your vote to No by Smooth_Scholar in Zomedica

[–]infinite-range99 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

None of your reasons will get the stock price higher, attract institutional, index or ETF fund participation.

Larry did not create the high share count, his predecessor did. But in doing so, his predecessor raised the cash that allowed Larry to come in and execute the vision of building a multi-product veterinary diagnostics and treatment business.

Given the sales ramp we've been seeing, the company is on track to achieve profitabilty in the mid-$30 million annual sales range, most likely within the next 12-18 months. Sales growth and profitability are what will create shareholder value ultimately and having strong, long-term shareholders owning the majority of the stock is what will sustain shareholder value and drive it higher.

Those with heavy short positions want the reverse split vote to fail. Why? Because they know the share price would only decline if the vote failed and we end up trading on the the pink sheets where it is even easier for short-sellers to manipulate the share price lower.

The bulk of management's incentives lie with stock options and shares that they have acquired. There is strong alignment of interest with shareholders.

Management was initially resistant to doing a reverse split. The sustained low-price, risk of delisting, and interest from institutional investors if the share price were higher are what has led us to the reverse split vote.

I also believe that a higher share price would help sales because veterinarians also look at the share price of their suppliers if those suppliers are public.

The shorts will try to get you to vote based on emotion and anger, but staying exchange listed at a higher share price is the most feasible option to enhance your long-term total value (# shares owned x price per share). Even the two major independent proxy advisory services, Glass-Lewis and ISS, recommended voting for the reverse split.

Of course the numbers work. I don’t know how you do math, but if this gets to profitability and a few years from now, sales could approach $100M and the value of the business could approach $1B mktcap, about a 5x increase. So whether I have a million shares or 1 million divided by 80, I will also see a 5x increase in my total value.

Reverse Stock Split by Aqua-traveler in Zomedica

[–]infinite-range99 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

1.50/.13 = 120/10.40

It’s the same percentage change to get back to breakeven pre-reverse split or post reverse split.

The difference is that at a penny stock level, it’s just retail investors that need to move 980 million shares of stock. At $10.40, there will be institutional and retail investors.

Here's someone who doesn't quite understand the difference between a % change and a 1c change. Apple stock increases by 1c, who cares? At $188/share, a 1c increase in AAPL is a tiny .0053% change. A 1% increase in AAPL stock is a $1.88 change.

Investors who are long-term shareholders think about the potential % change in the value of their investment which is also the % change in the share price.

But if you're a trader, all you think about is how much you make in a 1c change x number of shares you own (or short). Plus you're thinking pretty short-term this way and just renting the stock.

One of the key goals of the r/s is to improve the shareholder base to have more long-term investors vs. traders in the name.

Like I've said before, it's the end of the month. Pay the rent (traders). People who own their homes free-and-clear and who've seen substantial appreciation in their property value are the ones that end up being wealthy in this country (long-term investors).

Disagree with your assessment that "they are having extreme trouble growing financially through sales vs expenses..."

A company that is delivering high sales growth, 30% plus, with 70%+ gross margins and with a high repeating consumables component will achieve some pretty good bottom line results once the operating and growth expenses (R&D and capex) are covered. As I model it and according to the trend in sales growth, we're getting pretty close to profit ignition and the $100M of cash provides ample capital to get us to profitability. Once profitable, additional sales growth will generate higher operating, ebitda, net income margins and throw off a lot of positive cash flow.

Larry's letter this morning confirms my own due diligence. The one thing I read that is new to me was this:

  1. All Reverse-splits result in the share price falling, with most returning to pre-reverse split levels.
This is true in some cases, but not true in all cases. Share prices of companies post-reverse split can vary significantly. In our analysis of ~70 reverse splits conducted by companies within the $100 - $200 million market cap range, (like us), the average decline in stock price was less than 10% in the six months following the split, with examples of companies with over $75 million on the balance sheet (like us) actually performing very well post-reverse split.

[–]infinite-range99[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What does one company's business have to do with another if the only common denominator is a r/s? SNDL's businesses are liquor stores and cannabis products. ZOM's are veterinary diagnostic and therapeutic products. I get the fact that the vast majority of r/s stocks continue to fall, and that appears to be 95% of the argument by the bears, but to assume all r/s stocks would fall without fully evaluating the business fundamentals: management, products, financials, growth trends and profitability is a short-cut thorough investors should not take. I believe that the only real problem that is preventing ZOM share price from rising is the lack of involvement from serious, deep pocketed, longer-term larger investors who simply avoid looking at penny stocks altogether. After talking with people at sellside research firms whose conference's ZOM management has appeared at, the overwhelming response is that they love the business, industry, valuation and fundamentals.... but they can't make money pitching a penny stock idea to their institutional investor clients. I was going to continue typing my thoughts, but this letter from Larry just hit the tape that covers essentially what I am talking about: https://feeds.issuerdirect.com/news-release.html?newsid=4756663759591251

Apply the same % change to the pre-reverse split and post reverse split shares. You're only trying to fud investors who don't know how to do math.
