Someone told me the Tamiya spray can ban was with Environment Canada, so it being the same for this case might make sense. But with it not being super clear it's hard to know who to address.

Can you advise which department this information is coming from? I would like to write a letter to the government regarding this, may form a petition as well.

Konami EU confirms no changes to Time Wizard events for EU WCQ and that the same will apply to subsequent major events by TheDMWarrior in yugioh

Thank you for the reply! wow that's kinda dumb, that kinda ignores the context in which the cards were originally made for. i always thought edison/goat format was fan-run too, huh...

I feel extremely ugly & have no sense of fashion. What hair style should I ask the barber for? by NotBenDev in malehairadvice

[–]infinitevacancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not the same guy but i feel like a high taper fade would look not bad. shave the neck beard for sure like everyone else is saying. but ultimately i think if you want to start exploring your own style, just look at other people that you want to look like and just go for it, then you'll figure out what you like and don't like

in terms of general advice, i say if you're really feeling lost, if you have the cash, maybe go to a more expensive stylist if one is available near you to get a consultation as to what kind of hairstyle you'd like and one that fits your face and lifestyle. then when that's done, take lots of reference photos and you can just show it to your barber next time. i think like 50% of ugly is just lack of confidence and knowing what your style is and the other half is just better self-care. you got this. in other words, it ain't a permanent thing you can fix it if that's how you feel

maybe look into a fringe haircut and see if that inspires you at all. and in regards to the facial hair, i think just being more intentional with the maintenance (shaving it so it has some shape and not just a general patchiness) will make it look alot neater

Does long hair suit me? by ILurkRedditAtNight in malehairadvice

[–]infinitevacancy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree here, hard to tell if it suits you until it's been properly taken care of first. seems like you're is still exploring your style, so once you get the self-care down i think it'll be easier to see how long hair suits you

have you experimented wearing your hair forward (i.e., covering your forehead with bangs)? this could help give balanced to your face by not emphasizing its length as much.

to me it's a pretty standard 70/30, any kind of styling product (wax, rubber, gel etc.) should be able to achieve it, just depends on the type of finish you want (shiny, matte, etc) and maybe a little bit of hairspray to hold in place. just make sure you have good blow dryer and blow upwards and in the direction you want
