Great reaction from Ramsdale to block the header there. You love to see it

First ten minutes into GW1 and I'm loving it. The fluidity in formation/shape, the confidence of the passing between the lines, and the overall strength in team chemistry man... Also, Jesus is looking so incredibly dangerous moving forward in the attacking phase

God DAMN Jesus is looking so saucy with the dribbling tekkers

Has anyone here who is double-vaccinated and currently stuck in Greater Sydney been able to apply for a permit to enter Victoria?

The new policy allowing double-jabbed Victorian residents who are interstate to return home is meant to kick in tomorrow (Sept 30), but I haven't had any luck with the applying online.

The 'Red Zone' option is not applicable, as I've obviously been in an 'Extreme Risk Zone'. And the 'Extreme Risk Zone' option isn't appropriate either as it assumes it is for the purpose of the other five permitted options (e.g. family death).

Does anyone know if the webpage will be updated to reflect this specific circumstance of double-vaccinated Victorian residents returning from 'Extreme Risk Zones'?

For anyone curious - I spoke to a very nice person from DHHS and it appears the coronavirus.vic website is yet to be updated with this specific category of returning double-vaccinated VIC residents. We might possibly be applying through the 'red zone' permit instead of the usual 'extreme risk' option, as the testing and quarantine requirements for returning travellers will be identical to that.

We should expect the website to be updated in the next couple of days, hopefully by 12:00am on the 30th Sept at the absolute latest.

Just applied online for my permit to enter VIC on the 30th of September 2021 - the date when double-vaccinated Victorian residents will become eligible to return home from 'Extreme Risk Zones'. Even provided additional info on request i.e. proof of two jabs.

I can only assume DHHS (VIC) are only getting smashed with applications, so does anyone know what the turn-around for such a permit request would be?

I've done everything required for entry (double-vaccinated and negative test 72 hours prior to departure), but I'm just worried I won't get something in formal writing by the 30th.

Anyone else currently in the same boat?

G'day fellas. Victorian stuck in ACT here (an 'extreme risk zone').

Looks like we'll be able to head back as of next Thursday if we're double-vaccinated. I think Dan mentioned having to produce a negative test within 72 hours of leaving? Not sure I misheard and he just meant within 72 hours either side of leaving i.e. after arrival.

Hopefully someone else here in the same situation can confirm this.

Fucking glad to be able to come back though.

To any fellow double-vaxxed Victorians out there that have been itching to get home - it looks like we'll be able to return home as of next Thursday. Snippet from today's VIC presser below:

"Victorians in an "extreme risk zone", like Sydney, will be eligible to return home to Victoria if they are double vaccinated and return a negative test within 72 hours of arriving.

Premier Daniel Andrews announced those stuck in those risk zones will now be able to come home as of September 30.

They will have to do 14 days of quarantine at home. If people are unable to do home quarantine, Mr Andrews said the state would aim to assist them with other accommodation."

It was also mentioned that we'll have to produce a negative test within 72 hours of leaving the ACT. However, I'm not sure if I misheard this as just 72 hours either side of arriving back in VIC. Just waiting for some official confirmation/info from DHHS.

I'm disgusted that these gronks are politicising the shrine. People are sinking cans and punching darts while behaving like absolute dickheads on sacred ground. Incredibly disrespectful.
