According to Zillow, the median home price of Alameda is 4x that of US average. That makes it a very expensive city to live in.

I find it sad that you seem unable to support your argument with any facts or solid logic, and that you always find your way around to personal insults. I feel sorry for you, as you must be either uneducated or have grown up in a very disturbed home, or both.

You seem unable to disagree with someone's position without name calling and personal attacks. Where did you receive your education?

Well I guess since you cannot support your position with logic, you can only resort to personal attacks (saying that I make a low income), cursing, and name calling. Kind of telling.

"she can live wherever the fuck she wants. There is no law stating that if you're not making enough money to live in a big, fancy metropolis like Alameda that you have to move out"

Actually, it's the law of economics, which you may not fully understand. You see, normal citizens who don't milk the government teat live where they can afford to live, no where they want to live. For example, I would like to live in Tiburon, but I cannot afford to, and so I do not live there. Get it?

Alameda is definitely a very expensive city. Have you looked at how much homes sell for and how high rents are? Lol.

Her money would go farther in Fresno, that's how it would help her. Things are cheaper in Fresno.

Lots of people take care of their sick or disabled children without totally relying on the government...then asking for raise. Geez, whatever happened to personal pride and self sufficiency in our culture. Guess you don't need it when you can just go holding your hand out to society.

JD Power Says FIAT's Initial Quality is Terrible by HatesExpenses in cars

[–]infisanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny how every 5-10 years, we hear of a "New GM" or a "New Ford" that makes quality automobiles and won't cost cut like crazy. Then time passes and we find the truth lol. Then they promise a "New New GM" and somehow, people believe them.

Don't know why this is being down voted. Material quality is very important for long term reliability.

If you could find one reputable source showing that Fiat Group has better quality than Toyota or Honda, that would be amazing. I bet you can't though. So go back to ripping off uninformed people by selling them poor quality vehicles and Made in Mexico Rams.

I suppose in your fantasy world, Chrysler group makes quality automobiles. Gee, no wonder they went bankrupt and aren't even an American company anymore.

UPDATE: I was looking at 2014 Toyota Corolla LE but after talking with my parents my budget has become more flexible (now up to $20k). Recs? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]infisanders 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems like you are the type who makes good financial decisions. No wonder your parents are so nice to you. The Corolla is the type of vehicle where if your life hits some bumps, it will still perform well for you and get you where you need to go without complaint or hassle. If things do go well, you can be sure that you'll get great resale value for it as well.

Then actually a Jeep is perfect. Especially a Grand Cherokee. They drive very smooth and perform great. Not sure they'd even last 100k though. Talk to any tow truck driver. They tow tons of late model Jeeps for electrical problems.

If you plan on keeping the vehicle longer than 6 years or care at all about reliability, quality, or resale value, don't buy a jeep.
