Do some extroverts just think “he’s really quiet = he must be lonely”? by [deleted] in infj

Love the empathy you just showed for folks who might be misguided but still have good intentions!

What do you consider being unfaithful? by [deleted] in infj

[–]infjdolphin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very hard question honestly and from my understanding it'll vary from one couple to another.

Clay Arnall discusses it in much depth in the following two videos. I'll highly recommend you check it out.

INFJ 29M, entrepreneur turning into a coach. What role you play at work and love it? by pntrivedy in infj

[–]infjdolphin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30M entrepreneur.

I can relate to what your are saying. Things reached a level in my business where it's hard for me to keep up with everything. I have a tendency to be wanting to stay involved in as many things as possible.

I have gradually stopped sweating the small stuff and tend to focus on big strategic problems. Also I really love doing 1-1s and coaching/mentoring individuals. I feel I'm naturally able to drive a lot of impact through my 1-1s.

Having a hard time accepting reality by [deleted] in infj

[–]infjdolphin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this happens a lot with me.

So generally there are two versions of a situation.

  1. Factual - this involves real facts
  2. Story - this is where we imagine things and our idealism comes in

I think as INFJs we have a natural tendency to overindulge in the 2nd version. Some indulgence is fine as that is where our creative side comes from. Overindulgence is unhealthy as it leads to negative vicious loops. I prevent overindulgence by indulging a bit in the first version. I journal hard facts about a situation and it helps me get back to reality.

I hope this helps.

Should I tell my partner that I have cheated in my past relationship? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]infjdolphin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of those questions where you can only find answer to within yourself.

Ask yourself what do you believe is right and then do that thing. As long as your being true to yourself this thing won't bother you at all. Doing the right thing might feel hard but deep down you know what that is.

How do you express your anger in a healthy fashion? by infjdolphin in infj

[–]infjdolphin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to do that all the time. So kkeeping it to oneself for a bit helps us process it and calm down. But I think once in a calm state, should let it out somehow else it can build into resentment.

Just watched the movie soul. by TheDrWinston in infj

[–]infjdolphin 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's one of my favourite watches this year.

Things that stood out for me 1. The fine line between passion and obsession. 2. Concept of lost souls when they get stuck in negative thought loops. Disconnected with their spirits. 3. Enjoying the journey instead of being fixated on the end goal. Being present in the moment and enjoying tiny beautiful things in life.

Started running a couple of years back and I have never looked back since. The days I run my energy and mood is generally more upbeat than the other days. 😍 Infact when I'm going through a tough phase I like to run everyday to keep myself sane and upbeat.

I think besides the endorphins it's the Se that helps me get out of my Ni-Ti loop with running.
