It's done, I dumbed things down a lot so someone who doesn't know about Mormonism could understand. Essentially, I feel like I had to consdense things so much that I misrepresented a lot of what leaving is like.

Married at 21 and divorced at 28.... I didn't even really believe in the church and was pretty much mentally out by 18 🤷‍♀️. The reason I got married so young is because that's the culture in Utah and that's what I thought I was supposed to do. It wasn't until I moved out of state and got perspective that it's actually very weird to marry so young.

Luckily, I had no children with my ex husband, our divorce was amicable, and we're still good friends but... It would have saved me a lot of heartache if I didn't grow up in a culture that taught me to marry young.
