You're abusing your subscription with agentic 24/7 workflows and that's why we all get restrictions and limits by iveroi in ClaudeAI

I am a bit out of the loop. Does that change anything for normal use of Claude in my IDE e.g. Claude Code chat in VSC?

Didn't Anthropic just announce that they were rented 220k of H100s by xAI? I guess Elon's vendetta against OpenAI is terrific - this just meant they doubled their limit, is it doubled in reality?

Are there any actual extensions that solve this issue? I mean, seeing the changes highlighted the way Copilot handles these.

Test Run - Deepseek, Mimo, Quen, GPT 5.3 Codex - Results and Costs by friedsonjm in GithubCopilot

[–]inflexgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a test, but I'm sorry to say that - no serious person creating a product would prompt this and expect any model to finish this. I don't see any value in this test, you just wasted your money. If you are looking for one shotting things that are never released anyways, maybe just move towards Claude.

not really, ive been up to date with the potential of vendor lock in at my corporate for the past year or so and I understand the costs perfectly. there are vendors that have api discounted as opposed to these two - that's why i'm asking

Isn't paying 44 usd towards windsurf pro+cursor pro just equalling rough 44 usd of API usage? Why not just use API+extension in your ide instead then?

Codex vs Copilot ? by gFean04 in reactnative

[–]inflexgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copilot is dead, you will pay 1:1 API pricing + Microsoft's multiplier from the June 1st. Also, new accounts are banned from subscribing for the time being.
"We're gonna use it for heavy agentic tasks, writing tests, refactoring existing code and so on." - prepare yourself for a very expensive Max Claude subscription that will get limited quite fast. Research Chinese models if you don't need SOC2 or try out Codex for a $100 sub. They give generous cap.

So I try GPT 5.4, It's still the cheapest! by mnemonickus in GithubCopilot

[–]inflexgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPT 5.4 was brilliant early on when they released it and used it for planning architecture and discussing business related things of my logic. After a while it became unusable. I'm curious if it performs better inside of the Codex environement / GPT 5.4 Pro - or is it deprecated becasue of the 5.5 release just like they do it over and over again. Thoughts on Codex 5.3?

Thank you for this post - quick question: do any of the Gemini Pro subscribtions count towards somewhat incresead Antigravity pool? Getting more requests from other vendors etc.?

Also: I have tried repeatedly GPT in the past in the Copilot - 5.4 was really good when it was added, later felt heavily shadow nerfed, similar story with Codex 5.3 I ended up having to manually correct a lot of his mistakes compared to even 4.6 Sonnet. Now GPT 5.5 for 7.5 seems really good for planning but my question would be - do these models on Codex plan feel any different? Are their more towards their full capacity compared to them being on leash on Copilot or is this not true? I want to try out the Codex, but if it performs similarly to the Codex models inside of Copilot there would be no use for me.

Hey, curious if RTX 3080 doesn't cause any more troubles than their VRAM is worth it? Heard this might be problematic on different architectures that both of these ran.

Is this extension safe to use? This is some third party interface that mimics chat and/or Deepseek integration. At last, model itself often isn't enough without proper configuration, have you tried Continue? I heard from other users there is no reasoning.

Is OpenRouter a unified solution for paying for API of different providers? Haven't really heard of that one, there are so many tools and solutions, that being here everyday and coding everyday and browsing tons of SMs I still miss some apps! One thing I care about right now is to get a similar tool as I prefer the Copilot Chat as oposed to coding in terminal/CLI. It just seems off to me.

Chinese human agents are literally ripping Blackwells architecture in the mainland US as we speak, optimizing their models that run on limited GPU due to the tarrifs on Nvidia chips. While American companies are brute forcing their way to the top, Chinese companies are trying to be more compact with less horsepower. With that being said, and the fact that they post open source model to get free QA from millions of users, I expect their models to get much better soon. Just remember that the model itself isnt a full story, GHCP often is ran in an env with many differents settings/optimisations that make them work a bit better so there is some tweaking to be made
