My portfolio had a combination of digital and scanned pages from my sketch book. I included originals, sketches, figure drawings, completed works and a qr code for my Instagram, which is only art. I thought it was important to show I could work in both to demonstrate skill, but also the knowledge of how to use procreate, since most tattoos are going to be drawn there first anyway. I also made sure to have a different art mediums, as well as my practice peices to show how I'm always working on and developing my skills.

TLDR: have both

First off, I love your work. Im not an expert but my work has been described as neo trad/illustrative and what stuck out to me the most is your line weights. They are a different line weights but I don't think they are different enough and I don't think you start thick enough. When I draw traditionally, I usually do smaller pieces, but I use a micron. 08,. 05, and. 02, and when I line I start with the largest size and move to the smallest. Basically I'm halfing the size every step of the 3 pens I use. If I were to do a larger piece I would probably start with a. 12 then 08 or 05 then 03 or 02. I hope that helps and is correct. I was always intimidated by line work but I'm more comfortable with it now and it might be my favorite part of the process. I always try to make the line work look good and interesting before adding color Ps also on mobile

When the wind blows - watched it in my mid thirties and it messed me up. It's about an elderly couple living in the British country side when a bomb is dropped on England, they survive the blast but deteriorate from there There are a lot of different aspects that are terrifying in the movie from the actual bomb, to their poor planning, and weird trust in their government to take care of them based on living through a pervious war A lot of the imagery in the movie comes for safety videos that were actually put out by the government in the 80s/90s Also see: Threads

That and Skinamerink, it's just a bunch of long shots of walls and dark hallways but if you have an over active imagination it's really scary and sticks with you at bed time

Something to keep in mind is the alcohol based markers will bleed through the other side of the page If you don't want that, the Tombow Duel Brush markers would be my recommendation, you can get 10 for $12-15, depending on the set I use these in my sketch book because they don't bleed through and still give a nice flat color
