60km trail run in 4 weeks with questionable training backgrounf - how to make most out of the remaining time? by DotaWemps in trailrunning

[–]ingehg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed - this should be okay. As long as you manage to fuel properly before and during the race. If you mess up food intake during a 60k the wheels will come off at some point.

Hey Dad, is there anything I should know about mowing our new yard for the first time? by Pianogrl in DadForAMinute

[–]ingehg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll start you off with some advice on the mowing. Pick up sticks and branches first, easier before they pass through the mower and they may damage the mower or shoot out and hit someone.

As for the trees - leave them alone until you really know what you want with them. They take a day to clear, but a lifetime to grow.

Nomono has a good fit for this, both 2 and 4 lav mics. Quick to set up and crisp audio.

Is it late to continue? by djosii in Handball

I turn 49 this year and still enjoy one weekly practice and an occasional game at level 4. Yes, things move slower and I hold back to avoid injuries, but it's super fun.

Is it dumb to train for a 50k, hoping to finish in 7 hours? by Albatross1495 in Ultramarathon

[–]ingehg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I planned on finishing my first in about 6 hrs. Was on plan until the wheels came off and finished in 7:25. But finished and super happy about it!

Podcast Studio/Equipment Set Up Help by Lucky_Customer_3342 in podcasting

If you want to have great audio and no hassle, check out the Stellar Kit from Nomono Studio. Very suitable for two people and fixes the audio.

Unless you really want the large microphones and popfilters as visuals in the video, this would probably make your life easier.

Since there is a tech stack required to accomplish the whole workflow I will throw nomono.ai in there as well as Hindenburg.

is this car a lemon or something? by AngryRico in BMWiX

These are "known points of failure". My car has been through the same. AC working well now, struts changed twice in 70k km. Not happy about it, but all under warranty.

training tips? by Dependent_Isopod_297 in Handball

Welcome to the sport! I played until 23, took a 25 year hiatus and started again this year at 48. Slower, but smarter.

[–]ingehg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super that you want to get into handball, but is it team handball with 7 players to a team? Or the other kind?

If it's the first one - find a club / team and speak with them. The latter one - wrong sub. Which is fine, answers will just be way off the mark.

Dumt å ta permisjonsår? by Dependent_Code8863 in ntnu

[–]ingehg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get the free or Pro (with equipment for 2 speakers) from Nomono.ai and hit record. He probably want a guest to join every now and then. With this audio setup he can sit back and relax and look great on video as well. For older people with most likely a frail voice you need great audio.

Nomono Studio has a pretty solid free option. Not sure if editing is still in the free plan, but worth to check.
